| How will my fellow Apple TV cord-cutters watch the Winter Olympics this year? Posted: 19 Jan 2018 11:34 AM PST Hi all. Winter Olympics are almost here. I love Ice Hockey and the wife loves Ice Skating. I am trying to figure out the best, cheapest and legal way to watch the Olympics. I see there are NBC sports and Olympic apps, but you need some type of Cable Service to watch them. We don't have Cable and we also don't want to use Kodi. I'm looking for a legit way that is on demand. I am assuming it would have to be Sling, PS Vue or one of those, but just wondering what the rest of you are doing? The problem I'm facing is the picture seems to either skip or freeze for a fraction of a second. I'm talking blink and you'll miss it. Almost like a quick stutter. When I rewind the problem doesn't replicate. Audio also is not affected. It's not a buffer issue. Anyone experiencing this with their Apple TV? [link] [comments]  | ||

| [Help!] Unable to jailbreak aTV 4K Posted: 19 Jan 2018 07:15 PM PST I've been following a plethora of tutorials, but I can't get the ipa onto the aTV. I started with Xcode and I added it to my devices, created a name/identifier, added my appleid, and uploaded the ipa, but I get Internal API error. I tried resigning the file with App Signer, but it gives an error. I tried following the redmondpie tutorial about sideloading, but I don't see a section on dev.apple about Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, and my only options in Account are to change my email, or signup for $99/yr. Posted: 19 Jan 2018 05:41 AM PST Since about four weeks ago, I've been experiencing this issue w/ my Apple TV 4k: Whenever I start streaming anything - Plex, Amazon, Netflix, etc - I can a black screen for about two seconds while the audio plays fine. It eventually comes on and plays but this happens every time. I don't recall changing anything but maybe I did and I just don't remember what it was... Anyone else experience this or have any ideas? | Posted: 19 Jan 2018 09:50 AM PST Is there any way to block or prevent a show on the app from being on the play next list? Or even just set up my own playlist? It seems as if the CW wants to curate the shows I watch rather than let me watch in the order I want. There's one show specifically that I do not like and the app keeps playing it no matter how many times I remove it from the AppleTV's up next list. Edit: to clarify, the settings section for the app is really barren. And holding down on the top button doesn't give me any options in app. [link] [comments]  |
