cut and paste on IOS drives me crazy Posted: 16 Jan 2018 03:44 PM PST why can't I select a part of a SMS to copy? why is the default sometimes select-all and sometimes select? why is it so difficult to move the cursor inside of text? sometimes it works and sometimes the little blue balls appear to highlight sections? Posted: 16 Jan 2018 10:34 PM PST Does anyone else's iMac Pro (or 2017/18 iMac) have backlight bleed like such? I've exchanged it once and got a model with similar backlight bleed so I'm guessing this is a present issues on all models. I'm now outside of my return period since my exchange took over 2 weeks, and my only option is Apple Care. If this were you, would you pursue it further? [link] [comments] |
Instead of putting LTE in the Watch, please put it into MacBooks. Posted: 16 Jan 2018 10:22 AM PST I'm waiting for LTE in MacBooks since the iPad came out with LTE and I guess there must be a sensible reason why it didn't happen yet. Yes theres WIFI almost everywhere but still, LTE in the Macbook would be something else entirely (availability, reliability, speed...) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 16 Jan 2018 04:15 PM PST They are clearly aware how much lighter colours can drain battery on the iPhone, so why not ship it with a dark OS feature? [link] [comments] |
The iPhone X camera is an a monster in low light, if you use it right Posted: 16 Jan 2018 12:09 PM PST I've been playing around with the iPhone X camera since I got it, and hot off the heels of losing my Sony A7s (which could practically see in pitch black) I figured I'd see what I could do in terms of low light. I took my experiments and made them into a little IG story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fw4VYjzw42E As long as you can cap off the ISO, you can get some really clear & gorgeous shots out of the iPhone X. I used Filmic Pro to do it, but there are a bunch that'll let you now. Anyone else really impressed with this camera? [link] [comments] |
Apple deleted the synchronized vibrations on iOS 11 and iPhone 6s (only) ! Posted: 16 Jan 2018 04:32 AM PST So I updated last month to iOS 11 on my iPhone 6s Plus and tought the vibrations where strange/different (alarm, phone call, etc…). I figured out the « synchronized vibrations » option (it use the Taptic Engine) is not available anymore ! It was here from iOS 9 to iOS 10… but it's STILL AVAIBLE on newer iPhones ! (It's still avaible on iPhone 7). So Apple deliberately deleted a feature that was available on this iPhone from Day 1, but kept it on newer iPhones (with bigger Taptic Engines) ! I sent a mail to Craig Federighi some weeks ago but I got no responses… [link] [comments] |

Who else is excited for AirPower? Posted: 16 Jan 2018 02:46 AM PST I'm quite excited for the release of AirPower, wich is hopefully coming up soon. Can't wait to easily charge my iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods using one simple wireless charger. [link] [comments] |
PSA: How to Prevent or Temporary Fix for the New Effective Power Bug/Crash Text until Official Patch Posted: 17 Jan 2018 12:50 AM PST If Your Device is Affected
Ways to Prevent from new Effective Power Bug/Crash Text
This will prevent device from crash, hang or freeze when receiving the text but once you open up the messages app device will starts to hang & then crash. Some devices take longer than others to act up to this crash text so as soon as you open the messages app if you recognize some weird text in preview swipe left & tap on delete, then block that number. If you received this text wait few minutes until device respring, don't open messages app then follow method mentioned above to fix it [link] [comments] |
