What’s up with this huge area of unused space in the latest Apple Store app update? It used to be a thin bar and looked much nicer before.

iPhone 6s battery draining incredibly fast after iOS 11 update (x-posted from r/apple)

    Posted: 07 Dec 2017 02:12 AM PST

Like the title says, my battery has started draining abnormally fast after updating to the latest iOS, as in 40% to dead when I wake up. That happened today. Here's what my battery usage looks like taken roughly 10 minutes after getting up. A few days before, it was at 57% before I went to bed and when I woke up, it was at 5%. It's insane. I've barely touched my phone today and it's gone down 44% over the course of the day without me poking it much. Before updating my phone, it's battery life was perfectly fine and I had absolutely no complaints whatsoever and I'm certain it has to do with the update. My phone is only about a year old too.

    Fixes I've tried:

    1. Turning off background refresh app
    2. Turning off location services
    3. Basically turning off anything that causes unnecessary drainage after googling
    4. Resetting my phone back to factory settings.

Thoughts? Also, as a completely separate issue from the battery life thing, my iPhone back-up restoration through iTunes kept failing despite my numerous attempts, It said my iPhone disconnected but it did not.. instead it seemed to restart on it's own? Tried different USB ports too. It also seems my iPhone back-up has gotten written over while fiddling about.. any way I can get my data back?

Gladly appreciate any help I can get!

I've uninstalled since 2015 for battery reason and have been using the mobile webpage, what the hell happened to the app?

    Why is it so huge?

It might just be me, but does it stutter at the end of the animation? It’s not a big deal I’m just making sure I’m not seeing things.

Battery Life iPhone 6s Plus affet 11.2

    Posted: 07 Dec 2017 05:49 AM PST

Multiple people have Said that there is battery drain problems with 11.2 but mine seems ridiculous. 47% battery left after 1.5 hours since last full charge. I have used twitter and safari, haven't streamed anything. Is this normal on a 2 year old device ? It was ok before iOS 11.

Does anyone have any screen burn in on their iPhoneX yet?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2017 06:57 AM PST

I'm nervous about keeping my phone on max (or at least high) brightness, nervous about leaving the screen on when using maps, etc.

Wondering if anyone has actually experienced any burn in yet and whether or not I'm being overly cautious?

I made a subreddit earlier today ( r/iOSsetups ) exclusively for iOS home screen setups, wallpapers, app reccomendations, etc. Super cool, already 30 subs in a few hours. It would mean a lot if you went to check it out, and we're also looking for moderators! Apply within.

    App Store price tracking

    Posted: 07 Dec 2017 08:32 AM PST

I was using appshopper app for all this years to track the price of apps to see apps on discount and top chart. Unfortunately because that app has never updated to 64bit, it never appears back on my iPhone X. It is still available online but notification on the iPhone is very important part of this tracking so it doesn't help. Came across the App called Lookmark which do kind same of thing but at very high price plus it has only few of the features offered by appshopper. What do u guys use to track the apps prices, wish list, notifications etc...
