| Importing video off iPhone 7plus Error Posted: 08 Dec 2017 07:39 PM PST Trying to get a 4k video off my iphone7 plus and this is the error I keep getting: "This Operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.imagecaptureCore error-9937.) (-9937).
I've tried on different Mac systems, my iPhone is up to date. I've tried the import from preview and the error comes up quickly.
I've tried image capture and it comes up about 80% through the download. Same error on different Mac's - all running macOS Sierra.
In iMovie it won't even recognize the file. It's a 29 minute clip, shot in 4k, so it's about 11 gigs.
Can't seem to find info online that relates to this, anyone help would be much appreciated! [link] [comments]  |
| fingerprint training never completes Posted: 08 Dec 2017 06:53 PM PST Hey Reddit - so my wife has wanted an iPhone for ages. I finally broke down and got her an SE as an early Xmas gift. The VERY FIRST THING that happens is the damn thing hangs while she's trying to train it to recognize her fingerprint. She does the touch-touch-touch-move-touch touch touch, then it goes to a white screen and spinning wheel, and just spins for eternity. I waited forever, hard booted, tried again, same problem. | Can’t see my iPhone’s storage list. Posted: 08 Dec 2017 07:57 AM PST Whenever I go to settings and tap iPhone storage it shows me how much I have left, but everything else never stops loading. The list that usually shows how much space each app is taking up and the categories of the apps taking up space just have a loading symbol above it and it never stops. I've tried resetting and turning it off and on and it still never stops. I haven't had this problem until I upgraded to iOS 11.2 on my iPhone 8 Plus for reference. Is there any possible way to get this to work again? It's really inconvenient to not even be able to see how much space my apps are taking up. [link] [comments]  |

I've set the phone to auto-lock at various durations, and none of them seem to work. This was not happening before. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, and is there a known fix? | iPhone 7 (128GB) plays high-pitched sound on video playback Posted: 08 Dec 2017 01:43 AM PST Hi guys, first time here. My friend and I were guest speakers at an awards ceremony and I recorded our speeches on my phone. When I went and played them back, there's only a high-pitched white noise that comes out of the speaker. But when I go to another recording from 2 hours earlier, the video plays back normally and the video recordings I posted on my Instagram story are fine as well. I've tried rebooting my phone & updating my iOS but the problem still persists. I've tried looking up the problem but it's not coil whine because the sound is different and I've had the phone since August. I know it's a late post (~1:45 in the morning) but I'm worried that I lost really good videos that I wanted to share. [link] [comments]  |
| 2G connection for iPhone 6S, iOS 11.2 Posted: 08 Dec 2017 01:41 AM PST Hello, on previous versions of iOS (before ~11) I was able to choose to connect to only 2g cellular network. Now, the lowest I can go is 3g. The cellular operator has 2g avaliable (I use it through Android, no problem). Is there a way to set the cellphone to only connect to 2g? In advance, thank you.
