LPT: Apple Pencil is weighted in a manner it won't keep rolling off your table. Posted: 08 Dec 2017 02:44 AM PST I got my Apple Pencil today, it is a very "round" pencil and first thing I think of is it will roll off my table, so I cut a rubber tube and cut a small "leg", put it on the pencil to stop the rolling when put it on table. But, I watched a video that say the Apple Pencil is weighted in a manner it won't keep rolling. Now my Apple Pencil is true naked. Of course you don't purposely push it or roll it. Posted: 08 Dec 2017 12:53 PM PST So I've used Notability for a few weeks now and something has been killing me with this app. I export PDFs from the app fairly often, and I like to keep my notes with relevant information all on the same page. I don't like having to go to the page finder view every time I need to see this. What I was wondering is if there is any ability to add gaps between pages, similar to what you'd see when typing in Microsoft Word. If there is no way to do this, does GoodNotes have this functionality? I'm willing to purchase it to fix this issue. EDIT: Changed phrasing for clarity. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Dec 2017 09:15 AM PST (iPad Pro 12.9 1st Gen) My iPad was completely dead this morning so I plugged it in and to my dismay there were quite a few lines running lengthwise across the entire display. I assumed the device suffered some damage within my backpack. It is "protected" inside of the Incase Icon sleeve. Other than that I have no further protection for it. I went away to work on something for an hour or so and I came back and noticed my iPad display seemed to be getting better. At first I thought I was just getting used to it. Now, about 3 hours since initially plugging it in, it is at about 54% charge and the lines are nearly gone. You have to look very closely to see anything. I just checked again after writing the post and to the naked eye I can't see any lines at all. I wish I would have taken a before picture but I was so upset I didn't even think about it. Has anyone else experienced this? From what I can tell online I am the only one. Edit: iPad I added two pictures, the first one is comparable to what mine looked like this morning (only the lines were only going on one direction. They weren't quite that bright but probably 75% as bright. The second is my iPad from about 5 minutes ago. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Dec 2017 01:34 PM PST Just ordered the 10.5" 64gb Pro. Its my first apple product. I'm wanting to use it for school, and there's a lot of debate about whether OneNote, Notability, or GoodNotes is the best student app... So, which app(s) would let me:
Plus, an app that can open pdf textbooks and write on them, highlight in different colours... (Though a free one would be great if I'm already buying the note taking app) TIA! [link] [comments]
iPad 2017 backlighting issue or just a feature? Posted: 08 Dec 2017 04:44 AM PST Hi guys, I just got myself an iPad 2017 (A1822) and while I do love pretty much everything about the device I'm concerned about the backlighting. I find it too aggressive when watching netflix and switching from a dark scene to a lighter one. I don't know if I'm just too spoiled with my OLED TV but, for instance, watching a TV show with a dark scene that suddenly shows a white bright text in the middle of the screen will result in the backlighting ramping up to noticeable levels. Is this normal? I know local dimming on such a thin screen is nearly impossible but I didn't expect it to be so bad... Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
App for displaying a business and the ability to allow customers to interact also? Posted: 08 Dec 2017 06:42 AM PST I need an ipad app for a business exhibition that will display pictures and also give the ability of allowing customers to interact with each image, taking them to a link, for example. Posted: 07 Dec 2017 07:31 PM PST For example do you bring the leather sleeve to school or work? Do you slip it into a messenger bag or backpack? Does it stay at home? Just curious how durable they are. [link] [comments] |
