    Question About Macbook Trackpad?

    Posted: 08 Dec 2017 11:21 PM PST

I turned my MacBook Pro on and noticed that the track pad was really hard and wouldn't really click there was a lot of resistance to it and it felt like how it would when you turn it off and the track pad becomes stiff. Does anyone know why this would happen? I noticed this soon after trying to play a game, when the game froze the trackpad started acting up but I don't think the game would have any effect on that.

Okay, it might be a good idea to reboot my MBP from time to time...

Battery life of MacBook Pro after 500 cycles

    Posted: 08 Dec 2017 11:10 AM PST

I recently bought a MBP early 2015 and it lasts me a good 9-10 hours of normal usage. I'm wondering how long does it last after 500ish cycles for the average user? Does it still have that great battery life? Thanks

    MacBook won’t turn on

I've plugged in my MacBook and it's charging (the battery indicator lights are showing it's charging), but it won't turn on. It is making no sound and the power light isn't turning on. I've tried holding down the power button for ten seconds; holding down the power button for ten seconds, plugging in the charging cable, and continuing to hold for 19 more seconds; holding down the power button, shift, option, and control button, but at last, no luck. I'll take any suggestions at this point because I have an online final coming up, and I'm not anywhere near an Apple/computer store.

Mid 2010 Macbook user: Keep it, Pro or Air?

    Posted: 08 Dec 2017 04:51 AM PST

    Hi,

Having my Machine for 7 years, I've changed the HD once (last year) and it sometimes runs slow and battery is dying.

Would you recommend keeping it or going for a new one? Want to use Logic Pro and EZ Drummer (returning to music) but I also want to be able to use OsiriX (for work). Other things I use are the regulars (MS Office, Spotify/iTunes, Netflix, FB, etc.)

    Thanks in advance

PS: Money won't be an issue as I want this machine to last at least for 7 more years (If I'm upgrading)
