Just a quick PSA, if you leave your magnetic disc glued to your iphone and then attempt to wireless charge, you'll be creating an extreme heat source (that will undoubtedly hurt your battery). In my case the phone got hot enough to be uncomfortable to the touch. Some wireless chargers will also refuse to work if the disk is in the right place, but it'll still heat up, so don't leave it there. If you own and iphone 8 / 8 plus or will own the X, consider alternative car mounts, or you might end up with a bloated battery or simply with a ruined one that will last you 5 hours. My first thought was to buy a replacement screen and install it myself, which is not an issue. However, after thinking for a bit I wondered if the 5 is even worth fixing. I found a deal for a 32gb SE for 50% off, making it (converted from my currency) 172 USD. For comparison a iPhone 8 is 893 USD. So clearly the SE seems to be a good price, and a decent upgrade coming from an iPhone 5. However, what is bugging me is the future support. Would this be an issue with buying the low end model? I currently own an iPhone 6 16 gb and I hate few things on earth more than this phone (employee phone). Could the SE be the same experience in 1 year (since the SE tech is 1 year younger than the 6)? If it isn't, please let me know where I can. I'm very limited on money (I'm 17 & jobless). I have about $130, what's the best I can do with that? I know the iPhone 8/X just came out, so does that mean the prices will go down a lot for the other versions? I could work off some extra money, but I want to see if there's a phone I can get for cheap but still solid and good. I googled and saw the iPhone 5s was about $100, (I think) but is it a good phone? Posted: 24 Oct 2017 05:41 AM PDT After originally updating to iOS 11, my iPhone 6 was quite laggy, slow to open apps, slow to navigate around the OS. However, the last day or two it seems to have really smoothed our. I've rebooted in the last day or two and I'm wondering if that may have contributed? I was thinking about upgrading to the 8+ but now I'm thinking I can stick it out with my 6 awhile longer. Anyone else experiencing this? Distance is not even 10 feet. Works fine with my laptop and iphone 6 in the same location. Is this an issue with all iphone 8's because if it is I will be returning it for a refund?
