Unfortunately I cannot delete the album. It's labelled "# from my mac" in my photos. I cannot figure out how to delete this. I even went to image capture and deleted every photo off my phone but it just made the porn more prominent. I do not even see an option for photos on my itunes. | iOS 11 - Spotify no longer works correctly when locked Posted: 25 Sep 2017 01:14 PM PDT I can still hear my Spotify music when my screen is locked but the volume buttons do not work and in my car I cannot use the previous or next buttons to change what I'm listening to anymore. The Spotify interface also doesn't appear on the lock screen with the usual Play/Pause, Forward and Back options. I googled it and found others are having the same issue - Someone suggested restarting but it doesn't fix the issue. Is this Apple's subtle attempt at winning people over from Spotify? So last week I downloaded iOS11 for my iPhone 7 and its been causing me a bunch of minor problems but mainly my cars bluetooth for music just keeps disconnecting which is driving me nuts. So I decided to downgrade back to 10.3.3 while I still can. Now when I go to restore back to my backup from last monday (sept 18th) it says its restoring and then it gives me an error saying it cannot write to the iphone. Now when I try other backups (which are unfortunately back to 2016) they all say there was an error when creating that backup. Anyone have any suggestions or insight as to why this is happening? I've used iphones since the 3GS was the newest model and I've never had this issue before. I've had quite a bit of experience with restoring phones as well but I'm stumped on this one. Even worse is I've been paying to have the 50gig icloud storage to keep a backup in case this ever happened and for some reason its showing no icloud backups at all! It split up the traffic by which process was being used and how much data went to the processes. Is there something similar to the now discontinued service? It used a vpn as a filter and gave information on the processes and how much data each process or program used. [link] [comments]  |
| APK files downloaded to an iPhone 6? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 04:16 PM PDT I was recently on a site looking at Android apps out of curiosity (using Safari on iPhone 6), and after clicking on a particular app, it began to download to my iPhone automatically. It goes without saying that the iPhone showed me a downloaded APK file. Now, I'm aware that APK files cannot run on an iPhone, but here's my problem. Whether it can run or not, I never wanted the file on my iPhone in the first place, and simply want to delete it. However, no matter where I look on the phone, I can't find a place that shows me where files downloaded from Safari are stored, or even any acknowledgement from the phone that the file was actually kept on it at all. There are a few times I've found this in the case of other irregular files I downloaded to my iPhone, like PDF files. Some sources seem to imply that if the iPhone can't categorise the file, it pretty much erases it. Can anybody confirm firstly whether the APK file will still be "hiding" on my iPhone, and secondly any answers on how I can find and delete it if it's still there? Thankyou. [link] [comments]  |

When I receive a text message (not iMessage as far as I can tell, just sms/mms) the phone won't notify me properly. If the screen is locked, no sound, screen doesn't light up to show me the banner. If I press the home button, the banner is there to show me the message. If the screen is on and unlocked the banner will pop up at the top, but still no sound. This doesn't seem to effect iMessage. Waze, uber, lyft, apple and google maps can't locate my exact location. I have tried a number of resets and all to no avail. Recently, I have been getting really poor wifi connection on my 6. Are these fixable and more importantly inexpensive repairs. As of now I can get $145 for my 6 so I really couldn't rationalize paying more than that to fix it. [link] [comments]  |

For example I let it charge up overnight and if i do anything intensive for a while like browsing or watching youtube videos, the phone restarts. The screen stays on but black for a while then shuts off. Just about all of the time when i try to boot it up, it's very low on power. Which shouldn't happen since I just charged it up. | I'm like 90% sure my iPhone is posessed Posted: 25 Sep 2017 08:18 AM PDT I have an iPhone 6 running iOS10.0.2. About a year ago, the touch screen would just randomly stop working. Locking and unlocking the phone again seemed to fix it, and it generally happened more when I was almost out of memory. Thought that it was a weird bug and assumed the next iOS update would help to fix this a bit. That's when it got weird- I cannot update it. It basically fully installs, but when the phone reboots it displays the message "Update Failed". I had enough memory, was connected to the charger and WiFi for the entire duration. In addition, my iPhone is supported by the software update. If anyone knows how to fix this, that would be nice, but it's nowhere near the worst issue. About a week ago, my iPhone became literally unusable. With no warning whatsovever, it will randomly spaz out and touch random things for a solid 5 or 6 minutes.
