| Userscripts extension for safari will not recognize user.js files Posted: 12 May 2022 08:14 AM PDT Hello I am trying to install the "force old reddit" on safari using "Userscripts" and the script: https://gist.github.com/Gkjsdll/9c93042b0e9b7a5217e1a4c87535aab2 However I am running into the issue that after copying the script and pasting it to the userscripts directory and changing the file type to user.js it is not recognized by the extension at all. I tried a few test scripts and none were recognized. Userscripts is installed, activated as an extension, and allowed on all websites in safari. I am wondering if the method of copying the file from my iphone and pasting it into the directory isn't actually creating the user.js file but every single piece of userscripts Q&A will not address how to get user.js files. Is copying the code and pasting it into a seeming word file incorrect? Is it a requirement to create the javascript file on my desktop and move it to my iphone? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 May 2022 05:31 AM PDT I looked this up and it said how I gave to charge it in a cooler location. Now the AC at my house just got turned on because it's been brutal with the heat. No matter what I try my phone will hit 80% and then it will say it is still charging, I'll check around an hour later and it's still at 80% what should I do? [link] [comments] | ||

| trying to get lost but now found iphone to work Posted: 12 May 2022 02:29 AM PDT I had lost my iphone 8 last year around may and barely have gotten it back yesterday the phone is currently on 14.5.1 I believe I got this phone off of my stepdad so i don't remember the specifics but it was 100% functional when I lost it. The issue is that the phone seems to be stuck in the past, for example, It won't let me load instagram, discord says no or limited internet connection, and all the apps including the app store aren't loading. I tried factory resetting but it keeps timing out and I did do a network reset that didn't work and the software update just won't load. Is there anyway to get this phone to properly work? It allows me to make calls and texts with a sim card but just doesn't load anything else even when connected to wifi [link] [comments] | ||

I used my Icloud account to set up my work phone and I optimized my work phone to make working easier for me. My work phone has no personal apps, but it does have my photos and Apple Wallet (which isn't necessary). I like that both phones get the same texts and calls because it is convenient sometimes. I just tried to delete and alter contacts on my work phone, but it did the same to my personal phone. I got my contacts restored thankfully, but I still want my work phone to have a different contact list. So can I create a separate contact list for my work phone that won't affect my personal phone? Or Can I still have both phones tethered to each other and put a new ICloud account on my work phone so I can do whatever I want without affecting my personal phone? Sorry for the long post.
