Posted: 04 Apr 2022 11:57 AM PDT I have never seen Pulp Fiction so Saturday night after I put our daughter down, I told my husband I wanted to watch it. We searched for it on our Firestick and it showed up as available on Apple TV under Paramount +. So we hit play and I'm thinking this is not what I expected. My husband said this is not the movie so I looked it up and the movie that actually plays is "Hustle and Flow". I checked 3 times to be sure I selected the correct movie. I know it is available on the iOS store, but is it available for the Apple TV family of devices? Also -- I use an Xbox One controller with wireless dongle for Windows, since blueooth is poor in comparison. Does anyone know if this controller is compatible with the 4K/HD models of the Apple TV? Does the dongle work or do I have to use bluetooth? Also -- what's the Plex experience like? Does Plex work on Apple TV, and can I map it to drives on my network via a NAS? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 04 Apr 2022 11:11 AM PDT Hey. So, I just bought a new AppleTV to bring with me while travelling for work. The ability to connect to hotel wi-fi in 15.4 was the only reason for this purchase. I have it installed and updated to the latest tvOS but still I cannot get it to connect to the internet. It connects to the hotel wi-fi without any problems but I don't get a prompt on my phone or iPad to go any further. Any ideas? [link] [comments] | ||

| Apple TV 4K no navigation sounds when waking from sleep Posted: 04 Apr 2022 01:13 PM PDT I have 2 Apple TV 4Ks, each connected to different model Vizio LED tvs. I have them connected via high speed HDMI cables, CEC is enabled on both devices for power on/off/sleep and volume control. With each Apple TV, when I wake them from sleep, there is no sound until I load an app and begin playing content. The setting for navigation click sound is enabled. I've done the HDMI connection tests, everything checks out fine. Again once I begin watching something, I get sound fine. This only started happening recently, maybe since the update to tvOS 15? Can't say for sure. I would have thought that it was a problem with the TV, but both Apple TVs exhibit the same behavior and they are connected to different TVs, yes they are both Vizio but different models. I've done everything but do complete resets, that's a last resort, but this isn't such a problem that I want to have to go through the tedious re-set up of each ATV. [link] [comments] | ||
