    Apple TV now available for Android TV?

    Is it my imagination or did they add Android TV support? It used to be supported. It used to be Sony Android TVs only. I have a a HiSense Android TV that I'm pretty darn sure did not have Apple TV + available in the play store...but I noticed this weekend it showing and I was able to install for the first time. Sure it has some glitches(like dropping video stream every so often)...but it's finally there.

    Apple TV app no longer has sound on any movies or shows…just music videos (Apple Music).

    I'm using a Fire Stick via JBL soundbar with my projector and never had any sound issues with the Apple TV app until now. Tonight, no movies or shows get any sound at all. Strangely enough, I tried the Apple Music videos section of the app and they play with sound just fine. But with any movie or TV show, no sound at all. I'm guessing the latest app update messed something up. I'm reading in this sub that some other people are getting no sound either, so it must be an Apple issue. All my other streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu all are fine, with sound working as usual.

    I uninstalled the Apple TV app, restarted the Fire Stick, reinstalled the app and still has not fixed the sound issue. Restarting the Fire Stick multiple times afterwards doesn't solve anything either. Looks like there's no fix until Apple does it themselves.

    Update: Further testing showed that it's the PCM audio setting that no longer works with Apple TV via my Fire Stick. Changing to Dolby Digital got the sound back for movies and TV shows, but with greatly reduced volume. No idea why the PCM setting suddenly doesn't work anymore with the Apple TV app. Never had an issue with it before.

    Audio sync issue please help

    I love watching movies with Dolby Atmos on my Apple tv4k using my air pod max. However the video-Output of my 2019 built Sony tv is significantly behind the audio which comes via Bluetooth from the atv device directly. Turning off all the image enhancing functions in the tvs settings has helped a bit but the lag is still very much there. Is there any other way to solve this problem than to trash my tv?

    Store has disappeared from Apple TV app for Android TV?

    So I've been happily using the Apple TV app on my Sony Smart TV but yesterday when I opened it up I noticed the store had disappeared?

    I still have all my purchases and can access them fine but I'm no longer able to browse the store on my TV? Is this the case for anyone else?

    Audio sync issue when using both Match Frame Rate and LG’s Real Cinema.

    I've notice when both of these are on, the audio is actually very slightly ahead of the video. Turning one of the options off fixes it, but I'm not sure which has a bigger impact.

    Janky Volume
