| Posted: 26 Feb 2022 10:45 AM PST i'm aware that i'm lagging years behind, but the time has come where i need to update my trusty late 2015 mbp to a macos version sans itunes. what are folks out there using as an alternative for music management, folks who share my deeply rooted disdain for apple music? all i want is a music player/organizer that can import a (rather large) itunes library (or at least scan the folder and build its own), and if it can sync to an android that's a huge bonus. Posted: 26 Feb 2022 08:45 AM PST I wouldn't otherwise know if this is true but if I open and use my airpods then they automatically get connected to the Macbook. It's not new and has been happening ever since I got both. It didn't bother me earlier because I didnt have to use it without charger that often and never for long durations. But I have to do that now and battery drain on sleep mode is just crazy and I don't like shutting it down everytime. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 26 Feb 2022 10:45 AM PST I am used to uRXVT terminal, which has the ability to use one font as your main font and I'd there are any characters not in that font it goes to the second font (great for symbols and such). Is there a way to get that functionality from iTerm2? [link] [comments] |

| Unable to share screen on Zoom Posted: 26 Feb 2022 02:42 AM PST Currently running Monterrey on my recently bought MacBook Air. Installed zoom via Safari cause couldn't find it in App Store. When a zoom meeting is going on I can't share my screen even if I have been made the co host and given all the permissions. I was prompted to give access to screen recording via system preferences but I am not able to click on the button for zoom. Have a big presentation on Wednesday and need to figure it out soon.
