    iPhone 13 Pro Max often cuts the ringtone to few seconds only

    Hello there,

    ive recently bought an Iphone 13 Pro Max. Everythings smooth but 1 thing occurs and i cannot figure out why.

    So, to the point - my iphone sometimes (or should i say often) cuts the ringtone to few seconds of its duration despite the fact that incoming call stays active on the screen. This happens when my iphone is lying still on the desk/table, out of faceid range, locked.

    I havent been messin with ringtones, attention aware options and similar stuff at all.

    Any thoughts?

    quite a while ago, random music started to play on my iPhone

    Now, I no longer use this iPhone, but I would like to have an explanation for what happened. About a year ago, on 2 seperate occasions, random music played while I was watching YouTube. I would think it was a part of the video until I paused it and it kept playing. First time I believe it was either pop or rock music in I want to say Swedish. Next time it was a banjo or something, playing farm music.

    It only happened those 2 times, any explanation?

    IPhone 12 pro battery dropped 20+% overnight. Any ideas what to check? Have restored phone and still happens although not every night.

    How do I connect my lav mic to my IPhone 12? I have all the right connections but when I plug it in the sound and mic doesn't work. How can I fix it?

    The mic is a Agptek microphone (CITA standard) plugged into a 3.5 mm right angle adapter and into a lightning adapter

    EDIT. It's plugged in but it's not using my Lav mic only the mic on my IPhone

    Static noise from mic? iPhone 13 Pro Max

    Hi all,

    Just noticed that whenever I record a video in a completely quiet room I have a horrible static noise on the recording?

    Snapchat, Camera, Memos all give me the same static noise.

    Is this due to a problem with the hardware or do I need to clean my ports?

    Can someone with a 13 Pro test in the memos app if possible?

    No Sound with Earbuds plugged in

    I have an iPhone 12 that I got last summer, and I haven't had any issues with it until now. I have Apple earbuds (with the cords) that I use almost daily to listen to music. They're a little older, maybe a year or so. The other day I was at work and the song I was listening to suddenly stopped playing, and I couldn't get it to start again while the headphones were plugged in. I still can't get a video or song to play (if it does load there's no sound), but I tried my earbuds on a different iPhone and they work perfectly fine. My iPhone sent me a notification about a day after they stopped working that there was water in the port,but I've since removed it and charged it successfully. What's going on?

    iPhone verifying uodate

    Got an iPhone XR which I have recently tried to update, however, my phone turned off during the update process and when I went to go on my phone, it says on the lock screen that the update is verifying - however, I tried waiting this out and it has been about an hour, due to the verifying update screen, I cannot use my screen and use it to shut off my phone to reset.

    any help is appreciated!

    - I believe that the update is IOS 15.1.

    This happens every time I try logging in to my Apple ID. The code was not incorrect. It even has my location.

    Why does the face-unlock, only work sometimes?

    Seems that sometimes it mandates the passcode. It's like 1 in 10 times or something.

    Is this normal? I set it back to level, then back up and it still doesn't unlock.

    Not a big deal, but just wondering if this is normal.

    how to know if you’re blocked or if service is just bad?

    i tried to send some texts to someone. i wrote them up in my notes app, divided them up into three lengthy messages, and copy pasted them immediately one after the other the pressed send. the messages sent as a green SMS bubble instead of the blue one since this person has an iphone too.

    immediately after i sent the texts, they were blue and the arrow to send them was blue as well. i gave it a few moments because i didn't see the gray "delivered" at the bottom of the bubbles yet. it never showed up; the messages just sent as green text messages after a bit.

    after that, about 15 minutes later, i sent a follow up text and the send arrow was green this time as though it would automatically send as an SMS and it did. the blue imessage text wasn't even an option.

    i googled some stuff and i'm getting mixed answers. the fact that the texts appeared as blue for a bit before rather than automatically being green makes me wonder if i was blocked or if the service was weird on their end or something of the sort.

    Help with iphone x black screen

    Dropped my iphone x today but was only from my bed to my carpeted floor so probably about a one feet drop and since then my iphone has been vibrating and even set off the emergency sos alert, so the phone is still working but even when restarting the apple logo does not appear on the phone. Assuming it is a problem with the display and seen help videos on youtube use ReiBoot but it was asking to pay and i cannot afford to risk spending the £40 it is for it not to work, is there anybody here who may have used it before and would suggest using it or am i better taking it to a phone store to get it the lcd replaced but I have a flight in 24 hours so any help would be appreciated

    How do I change notification settings for the Shortcuts app?

    It seems like this option is available for every app, including other system apps (Phone, Music, Maps, etc.), other than the Shortcuts app. Is there any way to change the notification settings for Shortcuts? I feel like, since the most recent update, automations produce a persistent banner notification which I would like to turn off. It is possible that this has always been the default setting, but now it is noticeable and not necessary. Any help is appreciated.

    Hey guys I'm iphone user and since i live in a limited country I use vpn and proxy alot. So there is website i always used and yesterday i found out that the website had blocked my local network so I can't log into it without vpn. But when I tried using vpn the site did not allow me in and banned me cuz of using vpn and proxy. So any idea u guys got how to log in again?? I tried internet dns but that didn't work so plz feel free to guide me.

    Blocking websites on safari without breaking other features

    I want to block a specific website on safari. A google search says I can turn on limit adult websites from content restrictions and add custom urls to block. However turning this on blocks the clear history and website data option which is horrible. Is there a way to get around that?

    Anyone know why I can’t see the little button that says “control other devices and speakers” anymore? It was a small circle button that was just below this now playing screen. It disappeared a few days ago and I have no idea why

    About to buy a used 11. The 3utools report shows everything is normal, except battery it doesn't show serial number, just N/A.

    I'm about to pull the trigger on a used iPhone from an acquaintance. The phone is in mint condition, and battery health is at 92%, 288 cycles.

    When I run it through 3utools, it reported everything is normal. However, it doesn't show the serial number of the battery, it just shows N/A instead.

    Does that mean that the battery has been changed?

    phone on restricted mode

    so my phone just became restricted one day out of nowhere. i'm talking hiding youtube videos and comment sections, limiting accounts on apps, not letting me click on outer links to safari and more. it's literally driving me insane, also it gets especially restricted after 8. i am a minor and one of the possibilities is that my parents turned it on somehow, i'd ask them but they're gonna think i'm trying to watch porn when i'm just trying to watch youtube videos and drama on twitter. anyone has any idea how to get rid of this? thanks!

    BT microphone(s) get muted randomly during calls

    This seems to happen only with BT devices. iPhone 11 pro, ios 15.3.1. This has been going on for a solid year through various updates, and various BT headphones. Oddly enough it doesn't happen while connected through my car. But airpods, my Phonak hearing aids (the bluetooth is implemented just like any headphone), or other BT headphones. Have tried resetting network settings, forgetting the bluetooth devices and pairing, restarts obviously, turning off noise cancellation. Nothing works. If I switch to the phone from BT, and then back again everything works again for a few minutes, then the same thing happens. Has anyone else had this experience or knows what's causing this. Any suggestions helpful. I've tried doing a full reset on my phone with wipe, did not restore from backup - rather started fresh, and paired my HAs again. Worked as intended for a few days but then went back to the old behavior. Some app or some setting that I'm enabling may be causing this, but I can't figure out what. I don't have any weird or obscure settings/configs.

    The question is essentially, am I able to plug a MagSafe charging pad into a Mac to charge my iPhone?

    I don't need data transfer at all for this. I'm trying to buy charging pads for my work desk and my home desk. I'm wanting to avoid buying more block if possible.
