    Building games without PVP?

    Hey all! I'm looking for games I can build, a city or a town or a farm etc, without PVP/chances of losing hard work.

    There's a lot of city/civilization building games that look fun but most of the ones I've come across involve PVP or the destruction of your city in some kind. I just don't got the energy to worry about my cities getting bombarded or crap stolen lmao.

    I also like farming/chill management games so anything along those lines is cool, too. Paid games also acceptable.

    On PC, I play a lot of FPS games like COD and Overwatch, so definitely enjoying COD:Mobile on the device.

    I'd love to know if there are any single player shooters out there worth checking out? Or even some better multiplayer options?

    I really enjoy roguelite games (Hades is one of my favorites, dead cells is up there too)

    Any games like that?

    Really just throw some fun console like games out there that are worth trying now that I have a good controller on my iphone. Unfortunately with my current responsibilities in life, gaming has taken a backseat so being able to pick up and put down a phone with a controller is such a big help.

    Got The Quest a while ago and played a good bit. I was into the daggerfall style of gameplay, but some of its rougher edges ultimately turned me off (hard to find your way around, tough to track quests, not enough visual variety, etc.)

    Any other games that play like this but are maybe a bit more modern?

    I just picked up Severed for $0.99 and it is pretty cool, but I prefer more classic high fantasy themes when that's an option.

    The genre is totally optional although i enjoy merging my tools/pets/heroes, to build a functional team or lvl up my character. so it can be dungeon, rpg, city building, idle, merging. can also be arcade

    just no puzzle or story

    Dawncaster Difficulty issue

    I upgraded my phone a couple weeks ago and have been diving into the card driven rouge like rpg list as I haven't gotten new ones in a couple of years. Dawncaster was one that was recommended to me here.

    I started playing and didn't realize it had story mode that doesn't let your character die. I closed and restarted and I'm sure it was on normal and it went into story mode again. I uninstalled and redownloaded it and same issue.

    Do I have to beat story mode to get going first or am I doing something wrong? Every time I start a new character I go to the Arcanist with just the base layout so I don't know if that makes a difference.

    iPhone 13 Pro Max vs the NEW S22 Ultra in Genshin Impact FPS Performance Test

    Since many requested I conduct this test on my YT channel, I figured I'd share my results. I tested both the iPhone 13 Pro Max and S22 Ultra for 15 minutes at max settings in 25c ambient temps. I also made sure to download specifically from the Galaxy store for the S22 Ultra since many claimed Genshin is more optimized from this platform.

    Anyways, for FPS, starting with the S22 Ultra, I averaged 33 FPS while for the iPhone, I averaged 59 FPS. Quite a huge gap in performance. But in Samsungs defense, I completely understand this game isn't optimized and will be conducting additional performance tests during their next OS update.

    Now as for GPU, the S22 Ultra used on average 87% of its GPU while the iPhone 13 Pro Max used about 67% of its GPU. Last, as for power consumption, the S22 Ultra impressively only uses 5 watts of power while the iPhone 13 Pro Max also only uses 4.5 watts of power. But again, this also shows a big gap in performance between both devices.

    At the end of the day, I don't see any Android phone with the exception of Android gaming phones (built in cooler and no power consumption restrictions) beating the iPhone 13 pro max this year in gaming performance. I'd love to read your thoughts on this subject matter.

    Offline games to play at work?

    Not 100% sure what I'm looking for, but it must be offline. I don't like anime or board/card games.

    FPS's are ok but the two joysticks get annoying on a handheld. Most of the games I see on the top of the iOS store that are "time-killers" are such a waste of time and I can't stand them.

    I do like survival and apocalyptic games on the console, but they don't need to be that genre on mobile

    Suggestions?
