iphone 8 won't turn on after screen replacement Posted: 27 Jan 2022 11:52 PM PST earlier this week I bought an iPhone 8 off of trade me, when jt arrived it had a cracked screen so today I got the screen replaced. after the screen replacement it turned on fine and worked perfectly, a while later it ran out of charge and died, I didn't have an apple charge at the time so I borrowed kne from a friend, it charged for a while but wouldn't turn on, it's been on charge for about 50 minutes but when I press the power button the charging symbol doesn't show up and it won't turn on. what's wrong with it?? what should I do?? submitted by /u/rebekahtheclown [link] [comments]

Music app keeps reverting to the same song on my playlist rather than saving my place when I stop listening. Posted: 27 Jan 2022 10:47 PM PST iPhone 12 iOS 15.3 App: Music I have .mp3 files that I have transferred from my Macbook Pro to my phone and then saved as a playlist. Everything worked well for years, but now I have a very strange bug. When I stop listening for a while and use other apps, the music app no longer picks up where I left off. Instead, it always goes to 5:40 on track 6 of the same playlist. This started happening spontaneously (I hadn't just updated the phone or the app, haven't changed/added/deleted any songs or playlists). Super grateful for any advice, thanks! Trying to recover an old deleted video. Posted: 27 Jan 2022 09:37 PM PST Just trying to see if it's possible to bring back an old video I deleted. So basically every night I charge my phone so there should be at least one automatically ran backup from that time period that has the video right? Or is that not how it works? I deleted the video last year but didn't realize til now but definitely had a backup at that time (October 2020). my MacBook Pro is slow and won’t allow me to login Posted: 27 Jan 2022 09:20 PM PST hello!! yesterday evening my macbook was fine, no issues. a few hours later, it began running extremely slow, and the fan wouldn't shut off even though nothing other than spotify was open. i couldn't open google, settings, etc.. i tried to install a software update, thinking maybe that was the issue. now i cannot login to my profile.. every time i try to login, the white loading bar goes up a bit and then stops. if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!! submitted by /u/izuminui [link] [comments]

I always have to manually connect to my airpods Posted: 27 Jan 2022 09:03 PM PST I got a new phone recently. I did the full setup, I connected my airpods, it recognized them as my airpods. For some reason, if I take them out and put them in the case, if I open the case it says "Not your Airpods", and I always have to set them up again by holding down the button or going to settings and pressing connect. It doesn't forget them as a device, and once they're connected it says they're my airpods agains and shows their information. I've tried resetting them (holding the button until it flashes amber and then white) I've done the "forget this device" and then reconnected them. Will our iPad survive? Posted: 28 Jan 2022 12:43 AM PST Mom and aunties have been using our iPad as a footwarmer and flip flop rug to keep the carpet clean of mud. Typically in kitchen and garden as there's no sockets for the heating pad. They just wipe their sandals and rest their feet on top so don't put any weight pressure on the screen I'm scared the sweat and dirt will damage the screen. Iphone keeps disconnecting as i try to reset it (explain more in comments) Posted: 28 Jan 2022 12:21 AM PST My Iphone 6s is disabled an I am trying to use Itunes to reset it but whilst it is resetting it disconnects it self causing the restore to fail. it is not disconnecting as in the cable has come out of the usb thing on the side of my laptop but it simply just makes that sound your laptop makes when you have removed a something from it then immediately after it will make the sound of when you put something into your laptop. basically even though it physically has not been removed my cable is disconnecting from my laptop which is causing my laptop to not go thru with the restoration of my iphone 6s. submitted by /u/Alternative_Fix1122 [link] [comments]

I took a trip with my boys without letting her know and damn she was about to find out. I was shocked to see me and boys on her macbook. SOLVED !!!! Apple Magic Mouse 2 constant disconnections on M1 MacBook Air Monterey OS Posted: 27 Jan 2022 11:20 PM PST I have been facing constant disconnections with my Apple Magic Mouse 2 even when the battery is fully charged. I tried ; - resetting my bluetooth module on older OS - and also kept it directly connected to my Mac through the lightening cable but to no avail. - Then I thought it could be the dock issue so kept the dock unplugged but still no resolution. Mac OS Monterey was also never an issue for me because I tried the above solutions on older OS. Then I saw a YouTube video where the lady speaks about the faulty switch on the mouse. I used to turn it on till it was fully green in colour, this time I tried it partially green. and VOILA ! it has been working flawlessly since 24 hrs.
