Posted: 26 Dec 2021 02:05 AM PST So basically the title says it all. Got the watch as a present and I only have one USB-A power adapter for phone and airpods so I don't know if it's better to charge all devices with the same power adapter to not have to carry two different adapters or is the new cable so much better/are apple devices with usb-A anyways declining/dying out? Sorry if the question is dumb, I tried using google and didn't quite get a good answer. [link] [comments] |
Apple TV disappeared from Remote app Posted: 26 Dec 2021 05:02 AM PST When I try to add it manually I only see options voor iTunes or 3rd gen Apple TV's, nothing appears on the ATV itself. Anyone have any ideas or similar experience? It used to work just fine a couple of weeks ago. [link] [comments] |
Has anyone else found that since the update it won't as readily unlock macs anymore (if at all)? Posted: 26 Dec 2021 04:55 AM PST Prior to the update, I could hit the space bar and it would inlock the mac. Now it doesn't do anything so I have to use the fingerprint scanner. Not a big issue, I know, but it was just a handy feature. I followed this guide and got it to work again for a bit but it's since stopped again and I can't be arsed to follow the guide again. Stock Ticker app with widget that cycles through different stocks? Posted: 26 Dec 2021 04:35 AM PST I'm looking for a watch app that supports a widget where the widget will gradually cycle through different stocks I've selected. Does anyone know of a stock app with a widget that supports doing this? [link] [comments] |
New Apple Watch SE wont do Live Wallpapers? Posted: 26 Dec 2021 03:49 AM PST Hey everyone, Me, like some, got a Apple Watch SE for Christmas. I wanted to put a Sharingan live wallpaper as a watch face background using a Gif from Giphy, but I cant get it to work to save my life with the Apple Watch SE. That being said, I do also have a Apple SE as a iPhone, the new one, not the old 5S style one that supposedly dosent support Live Wallpapers as it lacks 3D Touch? But again, this is my Watch I am trying to put this on, but I cant seem to do it after hours of trying. Whats the secret or is there something I am missing with the SE Watch compared to the Series watches? [link] [comments] |
Just accidentally tracked an outdoor run as being indoor my mistake Posted: 26 Dec 2021 03:33 AM PST Was just wondering how accurate the results might be. I ran with my phone and me, I know the first 10k was accurate as I'd ran that route before and when I looked at my watch at that time it was pretty much the same time Also I've used mapping apps to check my route and that was within my 0.1 of a mile accuracy Just wondering how it would've tracked that run, and whether or not it's accurate (Sorry if this is a bit long winded) [link] [comments] |
First apple watch series 7 (Notifications) Posted: 26 Dec 2021 03:30 AM PST It's my first time to own a AW7 gift to me I read all the notification setting regarding when the phone is unlocked and locked What I noticed is, is it really normal if my phone and watch is on silent and vibrate and phone is locked that I can't receive haptic vibration notification on the watch? When I check the watch, I received the notifications but seems that It didn't vibrate to let me know I have notifications when my phone is locked? [link] [comments] |
