Note taking app suggestion Posted: 03 Dec 2021 08:09 PM PST Need a new app for simple note taking to use alongside my task management app: things 3! Just need to be able to make simple notes, create tables, hold attachments, etc. Don't have to be insanely complex - just fast for iOS and good aesthetic design. iPhone won't Forget Network Posted: 03 Dec 2021 08:02 PM PST My girlfriend's iPhone is having issues forgetting a network. I want the phone to forget our 2.4g wifi and ONLY connect to our 5g wifi. Now for some reason, when I click "forget network" the wifi network disappears for maybe 5 seconds then comes right back and immediately connects automatically.. really weird. If I click forget, it shouldn't even have the wifi password still stored on the phone still... Backup sequence Posted: 03 Dec 2021 08:01 PM PST In the situation where a locked iPhone becomes disabled by entering the wrong password too many times the phone can be factory reset using iTunes. The phone can be restored from a backup but the iCloud ID and password registered to that device would be needed. Fair enough. Not receiving notifications Posted: 03 Dec 2021 01:55 PM PST This is so annoying. Sometimes I don't receive notifications from Snapchat and Instagram and team's and many other apps. This is so annoying and it's Soo inconstant. I could miss some important notifications. Does anyone know how to fix this. I have the iPhone 13 pro max. Also btw I have check the app settings for notifications and they are all perfect. Need a very specific app for ordering food through the front desk of a business Posted: 03 Dec 2021 03:55 PM PST No idea if anyone has any leads, but my work has asked me to find a very specific app. We have clients in different rooms within our business and we want an app where they can order food through the front desk. Only through a curated menu of restaurants that we have selected to appear on the app. For example, the front desk gets a ping that room 5 wants X from chipotle. Anyone else notice Spatial audio sounds worse now?? Posted: 03 Dec 2021 03:28 PM PST I've been on the iOS 15 beta for a while now and I don't remember exactly when I noticed it, maybe it was with beta 2? But spatial audio used to be a lot more accurate in terms of positionality, and most notably the Spatialize Stereo feature has gotten a lot worse as well. Before the update, Both Spatialize Stereo and Spatial Audio had noticeably more defined bass, mimicking a subwoofer in a room/space. This was particularly evident with Spatialize Stereo. Additionally, the sensation of being in a nice room with big speakers that came from using Spatialize Stereo seems to have gone by the wayside with some kind of weird phasey mess in its place. It doesn't have that hi-fi listening in a room sound, or even live sound that it used to have on most music I listen to. There was also a problem where turning it on didn't also compensate for volume as well, so everything would just be louder, but that seems to have been fixed with iOS 15b4 I've just installed. Did anyone else notice this??? I couldn't have been the only one. I'd frequently listen to music with Spatialize Stereo enabled because it was just so pleasing and cool to listen to especially with head tracking enabled, but now it's kinda lost it'a magic. Can I use the iOS 14 beta to downgrade from iOS 15? Posted: 03 Dec 2021 02:37 PM PST Been using my iPhone XS on iOS 14. I upgraded to 15 when it came out and it absolutely obliterated its performance. I quickly went back to iOS 14 whilst it was still being signed. And since then I had been using my xs without issue on iOS 14, with it still feeling just as fast as the day I got it out of the box on launch day. Just got an iPhone 12 through work and unfortunately discovered that iOS 14 wasn't being signed anymore. I expected it to perform so much better on iOS 15 because of the generational leap. DND Until end of event does not sync? Posted: 03 Dec 2021 11:39 AM PST I just noticed that my iphone and macbook don't sync DND states when I'm in an event I have an ongoing meeting and If on my laptop I click DND "Until the end of this event", my phone does not go into DND mode. If on my phone and I click DND "until the end of this event", my laptop does not go into DND mode. It syncs for everything else. If i choose "for 1 hour" or "until this evening"or even "until i leave this location" my devices sync DND states easily.
