    Recent poor steaming on Apple TV 4K?

    In the past few weeks both my Apple TV 4ks have had terrible issues streaming shows I've purchased. It looks like they are 480p or something. Internet speed is more than fine and streaming on other apps is instantly 4K and no quality loss. Watching my iTunes purchases on my ps5 looks fine. Just the Apple TV's for some reason.

    On my 64Gb ATV, typing using the controller is causing incorrect letters to appear. Initially it looked like it was registering the click after moving to another letter, but it appears to randomly pick letters.

    Anyone else see this?

    Wasn't an issue until upgrading.

    Blacks being crushed with LG B8 and ATV 4K 2nd Gen

    Lately I've been noticing, in certain HDR or Dolby Vision content, the brightness will seem to change, and then scenes become so dark that you can't even see what's going on, and it is only fixed when restarting the TV show.

    I briefly read about this online, but it was supposed to be fixed with the 2nd gen 4k ATV which I have - but the issue still seems there? Does anyone else notice this?

    15.1 and 15.1.1 both have given me airplay issues when I share my phone screen- it's either extremely choppy or the appletv gives up and restarts, anyone else having this issue?

    Unable to ask Siri to check ATV Remote battery

    I have the new ATV remote and I used to be able to hit the side Siri button and ask what the battery percentage is and it would display it on the TV (in a Siri response format).

    In the last month or so now when I ask it, it instead takes me to the Settings app (probably wanting me to check it manually in the settings). This is really tedious and I wanted to know if the same thing is happening for others.

    Smart TV Remote Question

    I got a Samsung Frame TV, and they claim that the remote for the TV can also control an AppleTV. And it's true! But now, whenever I hit play/pause on the TV remote, it both works on my AppleTV and it causes iTunes on my desktop computer to start/stop playing. Any advice?

    Apple TV not detecting family member’s AirPods

    Situation:

    • new Apple TV 4K
    • Logged in with my iCloud account, did the initial setup
    • I'm part of an iCloud family with my wife
    • Setup our Home in the Apple Home app, invited my wife as a full rights member, added the Apple TV there too
    • When turning on the Apple TV both our accounts (faces) show up
    • Wife signed in with her iCloud account on the Apple TV too

    Problem: - her AirPods are not detected by the Apple TV when she's the active member on the Apple TV.

    Her AirPods are working with other Apple devices. My AirPods are detected by the Apple TV and work.

    Called Apple support and they suggested re-pairing the AirPods to her iCloud account. Did that and didn't solve anything. The next thing they suggested was a factory reset for the Apple Tv and to use her account for the initial setup. I'm reluctant to do that so I'm giving helpful strangers on Reddit a try, usually this works better than people paid to help.

    Anyone encountered this situation or has an idea about how to solve it?
