    Is there a way to force the iPhone to use the zoom lens?

    So I've noticed that most of the time my iPhone 13 pro max uses the main camera and crops in, and the zoom quality is often very poor. Is there any way to stop it cropping? If I didn't want to use the zoom lens I would have bought the regular 13 not the pro max. It's so infuriating there's no way to have manual controls and just use a longer shutter speed. Are the any apps known that categorically force it to use the zoom lens when selected? Cheers.

    Why can't you put your app icons freely on iOS?

    So I had an iPhone 4s way back. After that I used only Android and was happy. In 2021 I got an iPhone 12 from work. I see that you can still not put your app icons freely on the screens like you can on Android. What is the reason for that? Surly Apple could if they wanted. Peronally it is just frustrating and irritating, bit I guess Apple must have come to the conclusion that it would be more bad for the general users if it was possible, but I cannot understand how exactly. Does anyone know?

    Hello everyone, I have been using iPhone since the release of the iPhone 4S. I had the privilege to use the best of both worlds that is iOS and Android. With the introduction of iOS 15, I am very disappointed with the release, not because of the features or anything but how poorly it is optimized in my day to day life use case.
    Sure, some of you may or may not agree, but iOS 15 is still looking like some beta version to me. I used to run beta programs just to test out new iOS but not anymore.
    I am currently on iOS 15.1.1 on my iPhone 13 Pro. The software, in general, is buggy (lags, app crash, etc.) this reminds me of the beta testing time.

    Finally, will that stop me from using iPhones/ iOS? No, absolutely not. I just want Apple to release software that is fully optimized and not rushing for new features to push to the people with half-baked things.

    iOS and sound equalizer for all music apps

    Hi everyone! I've been an Android user for a long time. I used a free equalizer app to boost the bass level and set up custom frequency settings. I just needed to set up the equalizer app and it affected all sounds across the applications, like Youtube Music and Spotify.

    Yesterday I've bought an iPhone 12 and tried to find a free app similar to what I did below. But there are no free options available in AppStore, as well as none of them work for all the applications at once.

    Is there a way to set up the custom frequencies and bass level for all apps at once?

    P.S. Default iOS equalizer settings isn't the way for me, I want to customize the bass level and frequencies.

    I hope there is a "Guest Mode" for iOS 16

    if someone wants to borrow your phone and you want to let them use it but you don't want them access to your information a "guest mode" would be a fast and simple way to overcome this problem as opposed to locking every app and thing individually

    Best free music player that auto plays in the car

    I can't seem to get my mp3 from my Google drive or my Mac to work in the stock music app so I need something else... I tried flacbox and it's okay but it doesn't auto play in the car. Also, i would like to use it with my apple watch... Does such an app exist?

    Notification banner not working after upgrading to 15.1

    My phone iPhone X, and after upgrading to iOS 15.1 both my WhatsApp and Signal fail to show the notification banner on Lock Screen. I have missed a lot of messages. Or I have to open the apps and check regularly which is super annoying. I googled and didn't seem to see any solution. It seems I am alone in the world?!

    When I edit a picture I’ve taken with my iPhone in a photo editing app, is it possible it would alter the sharpness/detail of the photo in any way even if I only edited out a small blemish?

    I took a photo in "portrait" mode on my iPhone 12 Pro. I edited out a part of the pic I didn't like using a couple different editing apps. When I compare the end result to the original side by side, however, the original is noticeably sharper and bolder than the edited one. The colors are far more saturated as well. Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix/avoid it? Thanks!

    Transferring iCloud backup - iPhone 13 to iPhone 11

    I tried helping someone transfer from a damaged iPhone 13 to an iPhone 11. However, as many of you may know, you can't restore an iCloud backup from a different version of iOS!

    The iPhone 13 was on iOS 15.1.1 and the iPhone 11 was on iOS 15.1.

    It seems as though iOS 15.1.1 is only for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. This seems like an oversight for people who need to restore their data.

    What can be done in a case like this?

    How do you rename a residential address you've saved on Apple Maps?

    This new ios 15 is kinda tricky. I can save a residential address, but I can't rename it. For example, I can't save 123 Sesame Street as "dad". Apple Maps just saves it as 123 Sesame Street. How do I change that??

    iPhone 13 screen is dim for half a second before lighting up normal when pressing the wake button..

    Is anyone else having this issue?

    My phones' screen is off. I press the wake button, the screen turns on dim for a few seconds then lights up normal.

    My auto-brightness is off. The only thing that fixes it is having "Tap to Wake" enabled.

    iPhone 13 Mini web pages regularly freeze up when I click a link. Only fixes when I open up a new tab or turn the screen on and off.

    Last message in WhatsApp chat gets covered by bar at the bottom of the app

    In iPhone 13 Pro whenever I open a whatsapp chat after tapping on a message notification, the chat itself opens up as expected but the last message gets half/more than half covered by the bar at the bottom of the screen. I need to go back to all chats and re enter it to display it properly, ie the whole last message now fits perfectly.

    Is it just me or a new bug? This has been going for a few days now but I swear it wasn't like this say a week ago

    Shazam and Apple Music integration

    Does any one else have to go through several clicks before getting to a song when recognized by shazam in control center? It's an integrated native app, I think it should know if you have an Apple Music or apple one subscription. I know of a shortcut that will take you straight to a song in Apple Music but this won't work with music found while browsing online or in social media apps. Any suggestions?

    Allowing one type of notification to bypass Do Not Disturb and emit sound - possible?

    Hi all. I have a Nest security system which sends me motion alerts, sounds detected, alarm going off, etc. My device is always on silent with vibrate during the day and is on Do Not Disturb while I'm sleeping. Maybe I missed the option to do so, but I would like my Nest push notifications to emit sound only when Do Not Disturb is enabled. Is this possible? Ideally I would like to isolate it to only notifications resulting from the alarm itself going off, but I don't think the granularity is there. Thanks!

    Guided Access not respecting Auto-Lock Screen Display - iOS 15?

    I've used Guided Access for over a year now on an older iPhone at my front door as an alarm key pad. Prior to upgrading to iOS 15, in Guided Access mode, the display would turn off per the settings in Guided Access. This no longer occurs after updating to iOS 15, the screen just stays on forever. I've tried on a couple different model phones now, same result. When not in Guided Access, screen lock display is respected an working as expected. When you turn it on, it no longer turns the screen off...

    Anyone else run into this?

    Just upgraded from iPhone 8 Plus to iPhone 13 Pro — what apps do you recommend that take advantage of (or show off) my big leap in technology?

    I used my iPhone 8 Plus for some photography and videos, and occasionally listening to podcasts. Would be interested if there are any apps or advancements which make sense for me to take advantage of now that I'm on the latest hardware.

    Watch later when phone turned

    Since 2 weeks or so, whenever I start a Video and turn my phone to landscapemode, on the right half of the screen the „watch later"- list appears. So I have to close it manually. Is there a way to disable the list to show up?

    Error to add an Email acount on ios 12.5.5 Iphone 6

    I have this problem just when i add an outlook account. It started when I changed the password of my account and it asked me to re-enter the new password, I Press re-enter password and it did not allow me, then I deleted it and tried to enter a new account but it came out with the same error. I restored the settings of the device and it remained the same, then I restored my iphone to the factory seattings and it remained the same so I decided to load the software again without a backup copy and it continues doing the same so I do not know what to do to solve it.

    have any idea what to do?
