| Posted: 10 Aug 2021 08:26 PM PDT I recently reset and updated my iPhone in order to attempt to fix a wifi connectivity issue. Not only did it not fix the issue, but my backup apparently was corrupted in the process. The backup was from iOS 14, I updated my phone to the newest version. Is there a way to get my backup to load onto the newly updated phone? What specific software or steps do I need to use/take? [link] [comments]  | ||

It says I spent all 21 hours of that time on Uquiz.com, a site that hasn't caused me issues at all the few times I've used it for fun. | iPhone 11 Running 14.7.1 Issue 1 Posted: 10 Aug 2021 11:24 PM PDT Phone was purchased outright in September 2020 from a local Verizon store in New York, USA, along with prepaid service. My phone tells me I have a "limited warranty" until mid September of this year. I hope I did ok with that, this is my first post and first of two separate issues. The news headlines on the home page are "stuck" and will not update at all. I am still staring at news from almost two weeks ago. When I click on the news icon it does bring me to the appropriate day and headlines but the home page remains the same. I've contacted Apple Support via text and they told me to go find "iphone news" in the App Store and update it. I responded that the only one related that they found is the Apple News paid subscription service. S/he then gave these instructions: 1 Open the App Store. 2 Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen. 3 Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All. News is not listed there. I think the rep was at a loss as well. Ok, these issues happened soon after updating to 14.7.1 which I had to do as the previous software couldn't recognize my air tags. I'm at a total loss here. Please help if you can. | Posted: 10 Aug 2021 09:49 PM PDT I recently replaced the battery of my iPhone 4, at first it had a problem when I connected the flex cable it didn't turn on, so I contacted the seller and advised to reconnect it again and again and it worked the iPhone finally pop-up a low battery icon so I charged it. For almost an hour it finally booted-up to around 18% which I thought was strange and is probably not a good sign that a new battery has low juice. I didn't mind it and left it for another couple of minutes and when I went to press the power button it turned back to low battery icon. I charged it for a couple of minutes again near me so I can monitor it and then I noticed that it has been stuck in this low battery icon screen to apple logo screen on a loop. I connected back the old battery and it was fine. Then I reconnect the new battery and it still has the same problem. Does the iPhone not recognize the new battery or is there a problem with the new battery? [link] [comments]  | ||

| iPhone 7 randomly turned off and got stuck on Apple logo Posted: 10 Aug 2021 03:21 PM PDT I was on my lockscreen and it just shut off on its own. Tried to power it back on, but the logo would display for a few seconds and shut right off. Fixed it by plugging in the charger and powering on again, but the battery was already at about 60% before shutting off, so not sure why that worked. I haven't had any problems with the phone otherwise. Is there something I really need to fix, or is this just a minor occurrence? Run the battery down excessively? 2020 SE has been great in every way but battery life, started off just acceptable as a heavy user but now I'm dead by 3pm 10 months from new, low power mode from the moment I wake up. | Audio help, SOME messages are not loud, some are! Posted: 10 Aug 2021 12:10 PM PDT I have an iphone 12 (not pro max). I am having an issue where the text messages have lowered in volume. I understand Ringtones are louder and I also have tried many many of the normal fixes for this. Currently, I was basically blaming either an update that happened or hardware is failing. but... For some reason, when UPS notifies me via text message that I have a package delivered...that message notification is LOUD AND CLEAR. But if I get a text message from someone else ... it is low...too low. Again I have tried the "change with buttons" being off and on and all the other things... updated to current IOS ... and it still is low. Am I missing anything? Can it be that imessage texts are lower than a text message from a company like UPS (is that SMS??) Does any of this matter? So annoying, text messages used to be louder! [link] [comments]  |
