The less obvious perk of the iPhone Battery Pack Posted: 23 Jul 2021 06:43 PM PDT I went to work with my battery pack today, and instead of plugging in my iPhone into my desk's lightning jack, I plugged in the battery pack. Getting up and headed to a meeting, quickly sliding the iPhone off the battery pack felt even better than the MagSafe charger because of the added weight and width. Coming back to the desk, just plopped it back on. At one point I slid it off and set my AirPods case on there while wearing the pods. Leaving for the day, plopped it back on, unplugged, and off I went. This all might sound really obvious to others, but the pack acting as a portable MagSafe base was pretty neat. Will be really nice for traveling obviously not just for the juice but for the benefit of a bedside base. I use the mini btw. [link] [comments]

12 and 12 Mini users, how is the battery life holding up? Posted: 23 Jul 2021 05:33 PM PDT Greetings, after 4 years with my beloved iPhone 7.. it is time for me to upgrade. I spent the last few weeks browsing various different comparison videos and picked out a phone for me. I just got back from the store having picked out a new phone for me only to find out it's been discontinued (iPhone 11 Pro) so after some quick reading and comparing the current available models, I've decided on the 12 Mini but one thing that came up on the videos and articles is the battery life. I don't use my phone heavily,**zero** gaming, light browsing on social media, eMail, fitness tracker, and maybe an hour or two (max) on YouTube. My current iPhone 7 can barely make it a day on a full charge (usually reaches below 10% after 10hours after I've woken up) but that's on a light day -- a heavier usage day (constant GPS, Music, phone calls etc.) it barely makes 6-7 hours. I would like to experience my phone to last a couple days between charges instead of charging it every night. Which I've gotten used to but sometimes I forget and wake up with 1% or a dead phone. So that brings me to my big question. Is the battery life on a 12 Mini that much of a difference/deal breaker for people or is everyone just over exaggerating? On the Apple site the difference in 'video playback' is only a 2hr difference, but everyone makes it seem like the 12 Mini battery life is complete garbage and worse than any iPhone ever made. To my fellow 7 users who upgraded to the 12 or the 12 mini-- how was your experience at first and how is it now? Which would you recommend? Any thoughts, advice, or information is welcome. TL;DR - How is the battery life of the 12 Mini in comparison as a light to moderate phone user, everyone else is saying its god-awful.. is it really that bad? [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Jul 2021 03:59 PM PDT I need to get my iPhone 11''s screen replaced and i'm wondering since it took a while to break if I get it replaced with apple or another 3rd party store if the display will be as durable as it was before [link] [comments] |
