| Posted: 02 Jul 2021 04:26 AM PDT I have a first gen SE and was wondering if there's a way to turn the screen off while listening to music on YouTube, streams etc, to preserve battery life? I know you can do it with iTunes, but if I turn off the screen while listening to music by any other means, it also turns the music off. I listen through Bluetooth speakers if that matters. Although it's connected to a fast and stable WiFi connection (all other 4 devices has no problem with connection) it's just losing internet connection. My Whatsapp and Messenger messages are just not coming to my phone unless I unlock my phone and open them. All other deices connected the same network has no problem with it. Why? Background refresh, location and all of the permission provided to these apps, tried to hard reset my phone as well. [link] [comments]  |

But when I putnit on my phone It doesnt fit the same way as the one I regularly use. Like this one has the small metal plate ( I dont lnow its name) facing up, while the one I use back home faces down. Does this matter at all? [link] [comments]  |

I've switched from android and there I could have my photo uploaded in Google's photo and then remove them from my device. I was searching for a way to do the same with my new iPhone since I'm trying to move all my 1000+ photos from Google on Apple ecosystem but it's taking all the space on my phone. | dropped iphone 11 having problems Posted: 02 Jul 2021 12:41 AM PDT dropped my iphone 11 about 3-4 feet from my counter and now it's having issues. it shows an error message saying the battery isn't an authentic iphone battery anytime it turns on. i have it on the charger but it's showing 0%. i did a forced reset but it didn't help at all. it keeps turning off and back on randomly. when it first turned off it was showing the apple logo in red. Posted: 01 Jul 2021 02:43 PM PDT Hey everyone, I'm trying to help out my dad with any issue he's having with his IPhone12ProMax256GB- every morning he opens his phone, he gets a pop up about iPhoto(see attached link) and he's worried he's going to lose all his photos, and also wants to get rid of the pop up, it happens every day when he first opens it, and then randomly through out the day. | Posted: 01 Jul 2021 07:48 PM PDT Hello, my iPhone has been doing this weird animation for a long time. The applications will do this weird shifting vibration animation. It's not the animation when trying to edit the Home Screen. That I know how to intentionally. It is this animation that happens when I am not even intentionally trying to do something. All the apps will shift to the left, or they will shift in random patterns, or they will vibrate with out me trying to hanger their position. I'm a little concerned with security. I recorded a video in 4k 60FPS and when I watch it on my phone it's great but once I upload it to my Icloud photo album to watch it on my Acer WQHD monitor it's blurry and pixelated and not the 4k resolution I originally recorded it in. If I update my other information on my card, will it do the same? Like, will putting my address on it mean that anyone with my phone number saved in their iPhone will be prompted to save my address now too, or if I updated anything else? | physically retrieving data from dead iphone Posted: 01 Jul 2021 11:29 AM PDT I'll preface this by saying this is 100% my fault and was avoidable but oh well. A couple years ago I had an iPhone 7 that ended up completely dying due to what I believe was water damage. The phone wasn't backed up, so I couldn't retrieve data though icloud, and the apple store and some other tech shops couldn't get my phone back on. I've heard from some people that I could find someone to physically go into the phone to retrieve data. Anyone know where I could go about doing this, or if there is anything I can do at home to retrieve it for someone who is not the most tech savvy? [link] [comments]  |
