What are some of your favourite apps? Posted: 24 Jul 2021 02:45 AM PDT I upgraded to a 2020 iPad air from a 2012 iPad mini 2, and I absolutely love it. I have an Apple Pencil which I use to practice writing Japanese kanji and for note-taking in my studies using Notability. I've been so impressed with the iPad as a device for all the years that I've used it, and I can see that everyone feels much the same way with the amount of "My new iPad arrived!" posts, but I rarely see much mention of the apps people actually use on this sub. I'm curious as to what everyone's favourite apps are and what they use them for! [link] [comments]

Can't do phone calls properly on my Ipad Pro 2020 Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:35 AM PDT Hello Guys, I have an Ipad Pro 2020 11" and since 1-2 months every time I have a call (Microsoft Teams, Face Time, Discord, ...) the call is rejected immediately after I attended it or after a few minutes the call is hanged up all of a sudden. Also do I sometimes hear the opponent but he doesn't hear me or he hears me and I can't hear him. I don't know what to do and I'm glad for every help I can get. (And sorry if my english is bad, I'm in germany 9th grade) [link] [comments]
Have you guys found a way to place the iPad slightly higher when you write to avoid neck strain? Posted: 23 Jul 2021 11:27 PM PDT As the title says. I'm finding it hard to look down/take notes on the iPad due to neck strain from looking down, so I was wondering if you guys have found any devices or methods to help with that. Thanks! how to make the magic keyboard function key work? Posted: 24 Jul 2021 11:01 AM PDT I have the bluetooth magic keyboard paired with an ipad pro. My iPadOS RDP client registers F1,F2, etc (accessible via <fn>+<top row key>) but hitting <fn> on my magic keyboard brings up an emoji menu. How can I make it just work as a function key? I can't find any setting to disable this 'bluetooth keyboard fn key hijacking', lol. [link] [comments]

Will my iPad slow down if I start filling up the storage? Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:30 AM PDT It's probably a stupid question, but as the title says: I bought an iPad Pro (2018) model about two years ago, and as I knew I'd be using it a lot for art I figured I'd get the 1TB model (biggest overestimation of my life). And figured, maybe I should start making more use of that storage, like downloading songs, movies or comics onto it, but I'm also worried whether or not it'll eventually slow down if I fill it up too much. Don't want it to suffer the same fate as my poor iPhone 7+ which is just CHUGGING. Appreciate any advice! [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Jul 2021 04:08 AM PDT I bought a iPad generation 7 last year. It works great but was wondering approximately how long it will get software updates for the operating system as well as security updates. I have a galaxy s9 phone which works great but Samsung is no longer supporting it with monthly security updates which is disturbing because I like to do my banking on it as well as my iPad. Apple should make matte screen iPads Posted: 23 Jul 2021 08:49 PM PDT I think apple should just start making an option to get an ipad with a matte screen, kind of like choosing the color, except for screens. I really like the texture of a matte screen protector, but i hate the color noise. I think the color noise would be fixed, or greatly reduced if apple just made ipads with a matte screen. AppleCare+ for iPad only able to cover one accessory (Apple Pencil/Magic Keyboard) at a time? Posted: 23 Jul 2021 07:21 PM PDT So I purchased the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 2 on a later date than my iPad Pro. Since the details of the Apple Care+ for iPad did described to extendto the accessories as well, I called into Apple's customer service line to get the keyboard and pencil enrolled with my purchased coverage. The customer representative did confirm that the AppleCare+ did cover the accessories, HOWEVER only one at a time? So I can either choose to enroll coverage for the pencil or keyboard, just not both at the same time. He did pretty much told me that "if something happens to the keyboard, just call and we'll switch the coverage from the pencil to the keyboard". So yea, I was kinda wondering if anyone else had the same experience as me / confirm that Apple does have the "only one accessory at a time coverage" for the iPad AppleCare+ [link] [comments] |
