Games similar to Team Fortress 2 on the iPad, any good team shooters Posted: 28 Jul 2021 06:41 AM PDT I am feeling very nostalgic for TF2 lately back when I was a PC gamer. Is there any good class based team shooters out on the market? I am okay with paid and free as long as the community is good, fun, and enjoyable. In addition, controller support wouldn't be bad either. [link] [comments]
Struggling to remember the name of a game introduced at a keynote Posted: 28 Jul 2021 09:38 AM PDT A few years back, I cant remember if it was a normal Apple Event or special Keynote (Ive searched and watched and can't find what Im looking for) - they were showing video vignettes of game developers/studios designing new games for what I thought was the Metal architecture, etc and there was one studio that stood out. I thought it was a Japanese based studio and they were showing their studio with these real miniature sets of bridges and trees, the mood fo the video had a darker tone/aesthetic and they talked about using real sets and then the 3d character on top of that. All I remember were the miniature wooden plank bridges and the like... Does this sound at all familiar to anyone? [link] [comments]

Krafton envisions creating a metaverse around PUBG IP, says CEO Posted: 28 Jul 2021 12:21 AM PDT There's been a lot of activity for PUBG Mobile fans recently. Between the release of Battlegrounds Mobile India, the version of PUBG recreated for Indian audiences as well as the launch for PUBG New State drawing ever so closer for global users, fans have had a lot to talk about in the past month. Indeed, all these new developments have kept Korean giants Krafton well on their toes, but the company seems to be basking in all the attention. Chang-Han Kim, CEO of Krafton, recently held a press conference going into detail about the company's ambitious plans to create a PUBG metaverse. In the video, CEO Chang-Han Kim talks about the work put in by Krafton and how the success of PUBG has affected their roadmap for the future. He mentions that Krafton has more plans after the release of PUBG New State. Kim says that PUBG had now become a global phenomenon and that it 'cannot be viewed as a single product'. Posted: 27 Jul 2021 01:08 PM PDT As Mike Tyson mused, 'Everybody has a plan until they get hit in the face,' and I couldn't agree more. I got a few requests for Fighting games and naively believed that it would be a snap, but after about five minutes of searching I realized this was a huge undertaking. Punched in the face indeed… Quite the opposite in fact. As you can see almost all are free to try but carry large sticks, as it were, on the gem/diamond/chi/whatever level. So keep that in mind. I'm a strong supporter of premium titles but have been known to throw a few bucks at a free game if I'm enjoying myself, rigged games are pretty obvious. I'm also very surprised and somewhat disappointed in the lack of controller support, going back to the coin op days of Karate Champ, the twin sticks made these games stand out in their play style and fighting options, so the touch seems a distant replacement, but oh well, eventually we begin to see more and more controller support in the future. I will note though, that many of these are designed for touch and actually work quite well as is. I also suspect some of these do support controls but don't list them as doing so... I also think I should point out that there are more than a handful of games that aren't really classic 1v1 fighters, but instead include cards, board, brawlers, CYOA and more than a few side scrollers, but I believe they all fit the theme. Sucker punches. Don't agree? Challenge me! Did I miss anything, let me know!! Hope this helps! Enjoy! Now…let's get ready to rumble. Just finally got a controller - what games plays way better with a controller? Posted: 27 Jul 2021 09:11 PM PDT Would prefer newer games. I used to not touch much of the action type of games since I just didn't enjoy playing it on mobile for extended periods of time. [link] [comments]

How is the 8th gen 2020 iPad 10.2 for gaming? Posted: 27 Jul 2021 06:58 PM PDT Looking to get an iPad for some casual gaming. Things like Dead Cells, Slay the Spire, maybe some Civ VI, Mudrunner, games like that. How is the a12 chip performing, for those of you who have it? 32gb enough for maybe 6 games to be installed at a time? Won't have much else on there, just the regular apps but no music or videos. What is the best way to get IOS gaming on a TV? Posted: 27 Jul 2021 01:14 PM PDT I just switched over from Android and am looking for a way to get my iPhone gaming on my TV. I was reading about the Lightning AV adapter but I heard it has some latency so are there any better alternatives right now? The only device I have access to is an iPhone 12 Pro Max, I don't have a USB C iPad or Apple TV 4K. Thanks [link] [comments] |
