| Since When Did iTunes Become so Bad? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 09:00 AM PDT Anybody have any idea why iTunes is such a piece oh shite software nowadays? I started my cd collection a few years back and have since then amassed a good amount of records. Since then I've encountered problems in synchronizing my phone and being able to listen to my music on it. A Lot, and I mean a LOT of the music that I own for some reason appears on my phone as "unavailable in my country or region"... which is Bull because aside from the fact that I own it, it happens for things like Linkin Park and releases I know I should have access to. iTunes errors are beyond common, and this will cause me to have to restart the sync process 10 times before the software and my phone decide they can indeed commence the sync process. But it seems absurd to me that the music I've collected, file-located, tag-sorted on my iTunes, later appears unavailable or erroneously tagged on my iPhone's music. any help for me? I'm feeling like the fix is to get a basic mp3 player. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 25 Jul 2021 07:44 PM PDT I've had my apple pencil for about 8 months now, and for some reason it doesn't work. I looked it up and it said to connect then disconnect and that didn't work. It's charged and it still doesn't work. I tried taking off my screen protector and that didn't work either. Every now and then it'll start working for a little while and then it'll stop. It's super frustrating bc i like to draw so my apple pencil is something that i rlly need rn, especially during the summer when u have a lot of free time. I'm not sure what to do atp so i thought, why not go on reddit and see what they have to say on there. Pls leave tips if you can :) [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 25 Jul 2021 09:58 PM PDT I wasn't using my phone and when I grabbed my phone there was a notification saying that a screen recording was saved to my camera roll and when I unlocked my phone, there were a few apps that were opened. The apps were safari, YouTube and two more I think. Today was the first time this has happened. Is there a reason on why this is happening and should I be worried? [link] [comments]  |
| Fresh OS reinstall, Time-machine? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 05:50 PM PDT Hi all.. I dont work on Macs much.. a buddy asked me to look at his wifes 2012 13" MBP, running Catalina, its running so slowly as to be unusable. I'm going to pull the existing drive and throw an SSD in for them as well. Problem is, despite being a heavy user of it, her computer knowledge isnt great and communication is a bit difficult as english is a second language for her.. I don't want to miss any of her info/files etc. On a PC I'd just clone the drive to an image on my NAS and then pull things off, back into the fresh OS install afterwards.. is there a better way with Mac? It seems she may have a cloud Time Machine backup, or failing that, can I use Time Machine to make an image on my NAS and restore just her data while letting the app store install her apps fresh again? or? or? thanks for the help.. | AirportExpress join wifi problem Posted: 25 Jul 2021 08:53 PM PDT I'm having a hard time setting up an airport express joining a wifi network from a 3rd party wifi router. main router has a wifi, airport express connect wireless to it, a lan cable from the lan port goes then directly to a windows pc. tried both with dhcp or fixed ip. setup is working fine, ap restart and the computer has internet connection. I restart the pc and when back on, it has no internet connection. I restart the ap and the connection comes back. the pc was working perfectly when connected directly to a lan hub. am I missing something? as said, I tried all dhcp/fixed ip possible combinations, nothing works. thank you in advance for your help. I checked to see if they would connect to my phone and with dim hope, seeing the light not turning on at all, was a little confused to see the case is at 96% and both AirPods are at 100% If anybody knows what's going on I'd really appreciate any advice on how to fix it, I know they still work but it's mildly annoying that I can't tell if they're about to die without my phone in hand. Posted: 25 Jul 2021 03:27 PM PDT So my phone (iPhone 7s) says it's used up 31.1GB, but when I've added up all the storage I could potentially delete, it only adds up to 10GB. Posted: 25 Jul 2021 03:08 PM PDT I was ripping some CD's using a SuperDrive and my MacBook just shutdown and I can't turn it on again. Not sure of the model but it has a T shaped MagSafe charger. The connector no longer has any indicator light on. I generally on use the Mac as Roon server and it's always plugged in and on. Absolutely faultless for the last couple of years. I'm only having an issue with one of my iMessage conversations where I am only able to send and receive SMS's. Up until this afternoon iMessages in the conversation were working perfectly fine. For those asking, I've literally restarted my phone 20 times turned on and off all the iMessage settings and tried both my wifi and data connections. Please help 😫 [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 25 Jul 2021 12:02 PM PDT i was trying to update apps, but when i tried to update (tapping on the "UPDATE" button in either Updates page, or Purchase page, i get the pop up "This current version requires .... but you can download the last compatible version", and when i tap on "Download", the same pop up just shows up again already search online, and it's just people suggesting doing the steps i did already i think the "last compatible version" is already not the current version that they have in the app store, so there's no way to update now... or is there a way to update the app(without upgrading iOS) [link] [comments]  |
