How come no one atleast tried to make an FPS game with m&k support?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:18 AM PDT

Im surprise that they added m&k support a while ago and no one even tried to make an FPS game out of it. The games that supports m&k now available is not that much but none of them are FPS genre.

It double sucks too because ipad mouse support is not really a mouse support. When i tried playing browser FPS games, the keyboard detected fine but not the mouse.

Maybe not make a new one from scratch but update an already existing FPS games?

Xcom and civ 6 is probably the best use of m&k for ipad games rn

    Experience with Logitech Folio Touch

    Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:18 AM PDT

I've been using my iPad Air (2020) with a Logitech Folio Touch for a week and so far, my impressions are quite good. The keyboard is excellent, I'm a little more comfortable knowing my iPad's sides are protected, and the little flap that mechanically keeps the Apple Pencil in place while moving is reassuring.

There's no hinge, and as you'd expect, lap use is basically impossible and using it in bed is a mixed bag. It's excellent on a desk or a bedside table.

The trackpad is not Apple-quality by any means. It's more reminiscent of pre-force touch trackpads, and context-clicking sucks. I can only get it to recognize I'm trying to context-click with a great amount of discomfort. A limitation of iOS perhaps is that I cannot just map context-click to a right click, which is what I would do with this kind of trackpad.

Another Logitech accessory I usually use with my Mac is an MX Vertical, so I decided to try it with my iPad to alleviate the trackpad issues (I like using an external KB&M when my Mac is docked.) I'll be honest, the lack of a full-fat Logitech Options app/button customization option in iOS is really making this mouse a chore. I have the front/back button mapped to switching desktops on macOS, and its kind of annoying to have to use keyboard shortcuts or use the trackpad to switch apps on iOS. I also have the DPI button mapped to Exposé which, again, is another thing I miss when I'm on iOS.

But overall, the experience is positive. I'd recommend the Folio Touch for those on the fence unless lap use is a must. However, Logitech and Apple should really step it up when it comes to customization options for things like shortcuts.

    iPad connected to Android

    Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:32 AM PDT

I connected my ipad to my android phone with the usb-c to usb-c cable that came with the ipad. Now, I am a bit concerned. The ipad or the cable or the android phone, will any of them be damaged in some way?? P.S. I am asking this because on the official apple site it is strictly mentioned not to use any other cables other than the one provided by them.

    Air 2020 speaker layout bad

    Posted: 27 Jun 2021 07:16 AM PDT

Hi, which orientation are u using your newest Air? Because it looks like it has speakers just where my hands are in landscape (touch id and camera on the top) so I need to use it the other way with touch id and camera facing down to get the best sound. Not a gamechanger, but still.

    iPad Smart Folio Case

    Posted: 26 Jun 2021 07:47 PM PDT

Are the iPad Air 2020 Smart Folio Case and the iPad Pro 11inch Smart Folio Case the same?

I've seen separate listings for both, but I've also seen one listing mentioning they fit both, anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks
