Posted: 04 May 2021 11:17 PM PDT I've been trying to get Siri to play music while in my car and don't want to touch my phone while driving, but Siri says that she can't find them on Apple Music. This only happens with certain bands/artists like slipknot, guns n roses and a few other rock/metal bands I've tried. Fall out boy, Taylor swift and Eminem work fine. It was working fine yesterday morning, I asked Siri to play Duality by slipknot and it worked. After that something changed and Siri just doesn't want to find them any more. What's going on? Well, it doesn't seem to have changed since I last used it. After I delete emails on it, and when I go on my email from a desktop, the ones I deleted are all still there. I am sharing location with friends from my iPhone, I used to be able to change it to share iPad location. When I go to find my settings it says this device and there is no option to change it. iOS 14.5.1 Edit- I know you can get on the iPad physically and select use this device but I used to be able to change it from my iPhone. | App Drawer not organizing correctly Posted: 04 May 2021 12:58 PM PDT Hello all, not sure if anyone else here has had this issue, but at random times my app drawer will stop organizing all of my apps correctly. Rather than organizing them by categories such as games, entertainment, shopping, etc. it just throws all third-party apps into the Other category. It started about a night ago when i started charging my phone, so i decided i might aswell start asking around to see what the issue is and not just wait for it to magically disappear again. I obviously can't know for sure what the problem is myself, but the screen next to the home button is a bit out of position and has been for a long while now. | Posted: 04 May 2021 08:08 AM PDT OK y'all, just moving from the Android/Pixel world to my first iPhone. Picked up a 12 Pro running 14.5 and aside from a few things that I could probably overlook and wouldn't make me quit iOS, I'm having huge issues with the battery. Yesterday was my first full day with it, and I had to put it on battery saver at noon because it was at 54%. (after taking it off the charger at 6:15 AM). By 4:30 it was at 20% so I put it back on the charger. Keep in mind, I was working during the day, not streaming, had the brightness down to about 20%, and I was mainly on the phone doing searches trying to figure out what the hell was going on with it. Last night I charged it up before bed so I could see what the battery drain was overnight off the charger. When I went to bed at 11:30, I was at 94%, and when I woke up at 5:15 I was at 86%. It is 9:15 AM And I'm at 34%. I turned the battery saver on about 7 AM. I've watched a few videos and done about 30 minutes of FaceTime, but I really don't feel like I have used this heavy enough to have that kind of battery drop, especially on battery saver mode. ** I turned off 5G yesterday when I first started having issues ** So the question here is, did I get a lemon? I didn't buy any insurance on it yet, because I planned on buying Applecare as Verizon insurance is so expensive and they don't offer AppleCare in the store. Does anybody know if Verizon will switch it out in the store for a hopefully non-lemon model? Thanks in advance- I really want to love this phone! [link] [comments]  |

My phone is not set on do not disturb. I am not blocking unknown callers. Call filtering is turned off. The phone numbers aren't blocked. Call forwarding is off. I contacted Verizon and they closed my ticket without resolving the issue. Typically I wouldn't care but I am job hunting sooo I need my phone to work properly. I suspect it's an issue with VOIP callers, which is half of the world. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve the issue or why this is happening? [link] [comments]  |

Here are the pictures of what it looks like, plus the case it was in (last two pictures). The case it open on the outside, but the inside isn't even broken, yet somehow this mark happened on my phone. It's pushed a little upwards, so now there's a sharp edge.
