Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion - What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend? Posted: 09 May 2021 04:00 PM PDT Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles! As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store! To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default. [link] [comments]

Funding my addiction to Mario Kart Tour with Apple One Posted: 10 May 2021 08:13 AM PDT I pay for Apple one. I think it's mostly for Apple Music because I only have two Apple Arcade games on my phone but because of what we are paying, Apple gives me a $4.99 credit on my account. I use this to pay for the monthly subscription to Mario Kart and I think it's pretty neat. Just wanted to let ones know that, because if you paid for Apple Music already and are on the fence for Apple one just because of Apple Arcade, that credit they give back can go to anything, including a subscription [link] [comments]

Does anyone know/remember this game? Posted: 10 May 2021 10:15 AM PDT Hey, this has been bothering me for a while now. I don't even know if this is the right place to post this but it won't hurt to try so here we go: I used to play this hangman-esque game on my mom's iPhone 3G(?) around 2011. From what I remember, it had letters that you'd tap and the background was this eerie hanging platform. When you tap a letter, it would slide down the screen like a water droplet (it actually came in a water droplet design, like how it'd look on a car window if it rained). If you guessed the letter right, some animations take place (I remember a wind sound effect playing that causes some signs to spin or something?) and you're safe. But if you got them wrong, instead of drawing the hangman's limbs like you would in the normal in-real-life hangman game, an animation snippet of 3D-esque characters plays. I think it was about a guy who gets rejected by this girl and each time you get a letter wrong the story progresses and he walks closer and closer to the hanging platform. The whole animation (from my memory) was quite cinematic. The background music was sad piano, I believe. The whole thing was pretty fucking creepy. It was monochromatic 3D characters in a creepy ass world and the most colourful (if not the only thing with colour) thing out of the whole thing was the bouquet of roses the guy drops because he gets rejected(?). My mom and sibling remember the game as well so at least I know I didn't make it up. It's honestly driving me kind of insane. Google searches weren't pulling through, either. Anyway, if anyone knows what this game is, please let me know! Thank you :] [link] [comments]

Looking for a straight forward RPG Posted: 09 May 2021 10:44 AM PDT Looking for an RPG where the objective/destination is always obvious. Something along the lines of compass with an arrow, or marked mini map. I tried FF6 but I hate having to Google "where do I go next" Edit: bonus points for turn based combat [link] [comments]
