Tip: how to take pictures without making your device wipe its RAM Posted: 10 May 2021 07:53 AM PDT Go to Messages, select a conversation (preferably your own number) press the camera icon and snap away. The pictures will save to your roll. ios 14.5.1 issues Posted: 10 May 2021 02:06 AM PDT Ios 14.5.1 is an issue. Keyboard freeze. Keyboard clicking sound goes up and down. Battery draining like crazy. Podcast show not playing Posted: 10 May 2021 04:01 AM PDT Does anyone else have the same problem as me with podcast show not playing since 14.5 update? In the official app, it doesn't update to the latest episode. On ALL other podcast apps (I downloaded 10), they either don't play or don't even show the latest episodes from the past week. The only way to play it I found out is to share my overcast link to open in safari and play it from there? Apple said they fixed something with the podcast but apparently not in its entirety? iPhone Safari bookmarks removed after IOS update Posted: 10 May 2021 02:07 AM PDT Hi, Hope someone can help with this. After installing the latest IOS update for my ageing iPhone 6, all my Safari bookmarks disappeared. I don't use iCloud as a backup, so don't have a way to restore them from there. I do backup my iPhone to iTunes (on a PC), fairly regularly, so the last backup was done prior to the IOS update. However, I don't know how to restore ONLY Safari, from the backup. Game Name?? Posted: 10 May 2021 07:15 AM PDT There was this relatively old i.o.s game that I remember playing on my iPod touch 4th gen. It was where you would select different characters to build a band and then use those characters to make songs. The more "fire" your songs got, the more fans would wait outside your studio and cheer. I remember the currency was similar to purple coins or whatnot and you would sometimes have to use purple energy drinks to give your band members more energy to make more songs. An alternative would be to let them rest in items you bought for your studio for example, a hot tub. I added my work email (outlook exchange) to my contact book under my own name. Now I notice all the emails I send from the mail app show my iCloud photo next to my photo. I'm wondering if this only happens on my end or do my email recipients see it too? Issues on iOS 14.5 Posted: 10 May 2021 05:05 AM PDT Since updating to iOS 14.5, I've been a few issues. Right now for some reason the widgets on my home screen keeps flickering. It stops after a few seconds but it happens again a few hours later. Updating to iOS 14.5.1 doesn't fix this. This is also on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Any solutions besides restoring the phone? My phone keeps on randomly shutting off abruptly Posted: 10 May 2021 04:12 AM PDT Whenever I leave google chrome (or any other app, I'm not sure) open for a little while it sometimes just switches off and shows the loading icon like when you run out of battery. It's not the automatic turn off system where the screen darkens and then turns off, it's immediate and when it happens it gets rid of all of my tabs which is a pain in the ass. I'm not sure why this happens, hence why I'm here to ask for help, please tell me if this kind of post is appropriate for this place, if not I hope you can direct me to the correct one. 14.5.1 issue Posted: 10 May 2021 01:14 AM PDT Update: It finally stopped lagging, but I don't dare to restart it again to check and see if that other issue persists. Ever since I updated my 6s to 14.5.1 it's been showing the "update complete" message every time I restart the phone and gets slower and slower with each restart. It's lagging so bad while typing this that it's as if I'm moving at the speed of light it's absolutely ridiculous. I'll link a video of it in the comments. I haven't updated the other phone yet because I'm afraid of this happening to that one as well. Does anyone know how to fix this?
