After 14.5, camera Face ID Flashlight not working. Posted: 04 May 2021 05:31 AM PDT Unfortunately, after update to 14.5 my iphone XS's camera Face ID and flashlight not working at all. Since 14.5 beta 3, not working even 14.5.1. On 14.4.2 and 14.5 beta 2, it worked perfectly. I think its not hardware issue. So annoying. pfff. Now i can't downgrade to 14.4.2. How can I download Pushbullet on iOS? iPad Mini 2 4k H.265 Playback? Posted: 04 May 2021 08:08 AM PDT Hi all, I've recently run into some issues in terms of video playback on my iPad mini 2 when trying to stream 4k H.265 videos off of my NAS HDD using the iOS VLC app. I'm able to play said videos fine on all my other devices (Smart TVs, laptops using VLC, etc.). Does anyone know if this is an issue due to my iPad being a much older model (& also only being able to run iOS 12)? I've been thinking of upgrading my iPad mini for a while now, but don't want to spend the money if new hardware isn't the answer. Posted: 04 May 2021 07:37 AM PDT I manually sync photos from the MacOS Photos app to my iOS devices using the Finder on MacOS. After operating system updates, when I try to sync, I get 100s of messages similar to the above message, with the filename changing each time. I have searched through the Photos Library bundle, and I have no files with any of these names. I have to acknowledge every one of these messages individually, which is annoying. Apple Maps, help screen turns off Posted: 04 May 2021 04:48 AM PDT I seem to have this issue with Apple Maps where my screen just shuts off after few seconds and locks the phone. Despite me being in the middle of navigating to some place. I basically cant use Apple Maps because the phone will lock the screen and turn it off even when I am driving and looking for navigation cues! The "Navigation Prompts Wake Device" is ticked. But still nothing. Help? :( iPhone 11Pro (14.5 iOS) I feel like the screen should be always on when using navigation. CarPlay - Siri listens too long?! Posted: 04 May 2021 03:39 AM PDT Hey guys, since a few weeks I have Apple CarPlay installed on my Mazda by the manufacterer. In the city siri works really well! But on highway when driving more than 100km/h or the wind is a bit louder siri doesn't stop listening even though I stopped talking long time ago. For example if I dictate an answer for my girlfriend "will be at home in a few minutes", siri listens for about a minute and then sends exactly what I have spoken. I personally do not feel my car too loud in the inside. Is there any setting which could help me? Or does anyone have the same problem? I activated ATT on 14.5 by deleting Testflight but at the time no apps asked me nothing. Yesterday with 14.5.1 only two apps asked me about ATT (Banggood and Tiktok), after these two no more apps.
