| Posted: 24 Mar 2021 09:45 PM PDT U.S. based user. iPhone 11S with most up to date IOS. My phone has been spied on for at least the last 18 months. I am middle aged and recently married. My current wife regularly gets screen shots of text I have sent via IMessenger or emails via google or yahoo or pictures I have saved or taken from someone. They are usually snippets of conversations or taken out of context to make her mad or jealous. I can defend myself by showing her the entire conversation. The person has never tried to mess with my finances via bank or investment apps I have on my phone but continues to harass us by trying to split me and my wife. I have changed all my passwords several times on every single app and Apple ID. Nothing ever works. Any idea of what or how this is happening? Apple says it's impossible. Really just want whoever is watching my phone to not be able to anymore. No idea if they can see this or not. Thanks for any help. [link] [comments]  |

That photo was, at the time, in my iPhotos on my iPhone 4. Since then, I got an iPhone 6, and sync'd it with the old phone so the background and the apps all remained the same. Now I just got a new phone, and sync'd it again, so again same background photo. I really love this photo and wanted to save it onto my computer for safekeeping, but lo and behold it's long since gone from my iPhotos app and I can't figure out where it is saved on this phone. Going to change the background photo gives you the option to change photo, but not save the photo that is already there. I don't want to change the photo or else this one is gone forever, and I can't figure out how to get a version of this picture that doesn't have the time or apps hovering over it! My phone camera is extremely shaky all of a sudden. I tried cleaning it and restarting my phone. However, when I go on Snapchat, suddenly the camera is perfectly fine, no shaking whatsoever. We take a large number of photos that need to be recorded and logged. The easiest method has been when using devices that display the photo number on the screen whilst taking the photo. | Iphone 5S strange battery issues. Posted: 24 Mar 2021 05:28 PM PDT At first i thought the battery was just spent, it runs out usually within 2 hours of being fully charged. However my stranger issue is that the phone will suddenly die after being on charge, this only happens when the phone charges to 100%, if it charges to 99% it won't die, but if i charge it to 100% it will sit at 100% for a few minutes and then just shut down to 0%. My phone will then need to be plugged in and charged all the way back up from 0% as it lost all it's charge within the few minutes of being unplugged. This can happen after it's been in all night and charged from 25% back to 100%, or even after a few minutes of charging from 95% to 100%. I would love any help with this but i'm guessing my phone battery is just dead and on life support. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 8 (iOS 14) No sound, Cannot change volume Posted: 24 Mar 2021 05:24 PM PDT A few hours ago after I recharged my phone, the audio stopped playing through my speakers. When I went to change it with the buttons, nothing happened. The volume didn't change and no pop up occurred. When trying to change the volume from the control center, I could not slide the volume up or down at all. It was just permanently stuck in the middle. I tried changing the volume in Apple Music and there wasn't even a slider/circle on the volume bar to change the sound. I tried using headphones and the problem persisted. I have had this phone for over a year, and it is cracked and has been exposed to water (although it was exposed to water about a month ago and I didn't have any problems until now). Any ideas? | Darkmode in Amoled: text scrolls faster than black background Posted: 23 Mar 2021 10:45 PM PDT I'm having what seems to be a common problem among my friends: When I scroll in darkmode, any true dark bits scroll slower than whatever is not true black. That is true for a table view but also for screenshots of true black within a scroll view. None of my friends has a solution. They all live with it. I have an iPhone 11 and I use IG for work, school, and clubs so I really need to be able to get notifications when I get DMs but I just cannot seem to fix the problem. I have checked through the setting on the IG app to make sure notifications are on; I have checked through my phone settings to make sure I am allowed to received IG notifications; I have tried logging out and logging back in, I have deleted the app and reinstalled, I have cleared the cache, I have turned my phone off and on, I even updated my operating system and nothing is working. When I get a message now I don't even get the little red circle with a number in it on the app shortcut to show how many notifications I have. I connected to my car stereo via Bluetooth so I can play Pandora or Spotify, but for some reason, it never automatically connects to it like my 7 would. I have to always go into Bluetooth settings and tap on my stereo for it to connect. This can't be by design, right? Is anyone else out there having this issue? | Second hand iPhone 11 with no genuine display: Scam or not? Posted: 23 Mar 2021 03:39 PM PDT I'm a full time student with barely any money but I really need a new phone. I've got an iPhone 7 atm and its battery is completely gone. I've also sold my soul to Apple so am not willing to compromise with an Android. I bought a second hand refurbished iPhone 11 with 128GB storage from Back Market for £430 with student discount. It seems like a really good price. The only issue is it came yesterday and it shows the alert "cannot verify genuine Apple display". I'm guessing they replaced the screen but probably not at Apple. Is it a big enough issue for me to return the phone? I know that not having the proper screen may mean it won't work as well but is that actually true? I keep seeing conflicting reports about the fact u can replace the screen with a genuine display but unless done at Apple u wont get the verification vs. it is actually a big problem not to get the screen fixed by Apple. The Apple warranty of the phone has also expired although it is covered by Back Market for 12 months. This is just such a good deal and I do really want a new phone but if it's not worth it I suppose I have no choice but to wait a bit longer. Any advice please? [link] [comments]  |

| IPhone App Won't Delete and Looks Weird - Please Help! Posted: 23 Mar 2021 02:34 PM PDT Hello! I need help. My Discord app won't open and it's icon is a white grid. I have tried restarting my phone multiple times, putting it in airplane mode and turning it off for a while. I even went to settings, and despite successfully deleting the app, it remains there in my apps as a white grid and when I go to the App Store - it says 'open' instead of 'download' even though the app isn't really there. I'm not sure what else to do, I'm not very good with technology. Should I wait a day and see if my phone processes it then? Or is their a method where I can successfully remove it from my phone, before getting it back and working again? Update: I have also looked in storage...it's not present there despite being listed as an app elsewhere. It's like deleted, but not? I have no idea what's going on. Thanks a bunch in advance. Final update : Problem solved! I went on PC and updated to 14.4.1 IOS through ITunes and it somehow fixed the app problem I was having. Big relief! [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 23 Mar 2021 01:35 PM PDT Hi everyone, I have a very odd problem with my voicemail.. I only receive them 2 at a time. So if someone leaves me a voicemail I have to wait till someone else leaves me another voicemail, then I get both of them at the same time.
