| Posted: 25 Mar 2021 08:47 AM PDT I recently just finished doing a performance test with the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Genshin Impact with iOS 14.5 Beta 4. The performance gains are definitely nice! I averaged 58.7 FPS and even tested in rain - which is known to be harsh on FPS Performance for mobile devices. The device averaged around 30c which is extremely good since many of the other phones I tested average at 40c at max settings with Genshin Impact. The biggest change is the power consumption, before the iPhone would only use 4 watts of power, but know it consumes 5 watts of power. It seems Apple increased the power consumption to increase the performance for the A14 Bionic Chip. 5 watts is not to high but very average when doing high intensive graphical gaming. 6 to 7 watts is where it will negatively affect device integrity. I'm a happy ipad+msi controller gamer who finally upgraded their tiny old iphone 7 to a nice shiny new iphone 12! I'm looking for recommendations. I mostly play indie games, which is very broad but I guess my gaming preferences are quite broad. One thing that I really like in games is 'endlessness': roguelike or just great replayability. Games I'm thinking of are slay the spire, binding of isaac, dungeon of the endless, dead cells, stuff like that! As I mentioned, I'm not new to ios gaming but I'm looking specifically for games that would suit my phone well.
Premium games I already own on ios (or on PC with no interest in repurchasing on ios): Slay the spire, crashlands, minecraft, terraria, binding of isaac, crypt of the necrodancer, don't starve, dungeon of the endless, dead cells, civilization V & VI, bloons 5 & 6, grimvalor, downwell, reigns (all of them), neon chrome, titan quest, jaipur, san juan, agricola, bastion, wayward souls. Probably more but I can't find them right now and this should already filter out some recommendations, haha. Would recommend most of these, by the way. Great games! | Posted: 24 Mar 2021 11:29 AM PDT im enjoying some f2p like Kingdom Rush, Onirim, Cod and Data Wing (this last is a little femmn) but now i need a true good game that have the feeling of a pc game and can stuck me in the screen and have well made game design. Want to spend little more than 10€ so wich game you recommend from there: Mysterious Castle Solar Rogue ATOM rpg 9th Dawn III Battlevoid Star Traders frontier Battle Chaser Nightwar Xcom enemy within Legend of grimrock Steamworld Heist Slay the spire The talos principle I like a lot rpg, roguelike, scifi themed and strategy so any other tip is glad.
