Write dares with Apple Pencil and sync to calendar for alarms and reminders Posted: 23 Feb 2021 01:40 PM PST I'm not sure if it exists yet, but I'm looking for a digital planner where when I write dates and times with the Apple Pencil, I can quickly have it sync to my calendar. The notes app has the basic function where if you write a date and select it, you can create a new event from there. This is the function I am looking for, just in a nice journal layout. Pencil and planner is close where it can import my calendar, but I cannot export or sync if I write in an event/appointment. or am I just asking for too much? [link] [comments]
Looking to use iPad as main computer Posted: 23 Feb 2021 09:32 AM PST I'm currently doing an engineering degree and looking to switch out my MacBook Pro for a windows laptop which I need for school and an iPad Pro w/ Magic keyboard and pen which I plan on using for taking notes and all general laptop usage (web browsing, writing documents, photo editing...) but I'm not sure if iPadOS is up to the task. For the people who have made the switch what are the annoyances/ things you miss about macOS or a full blown laptop sin general? [link] [comments]

Is there a way to prevent a bluetooth mouse from leaving a remote game streaming app? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 10:21 AM PST I have tried Steam Link, Moonlight and Rainway and all of them seem to have problems with the bluetooth mouse. Everytime you mouse scroll up or down and hit where the ipads mouse cursor would detect the top edge of the screen or bottom it either pops open the notification menu or the app drawer, making it impossible to use in most kb+mouse games. Just wondering if there is any way to fix this or if we are mostly limited to just controller/gamepad remote streaming games at the moment. Thanks all! [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Feb 2021 10:04 AM PST I cannot log my iPad into my gmail account. And I've tried just about every route on the ipad. The apple mail app, the gmail app, browser login via Chrome and Safari. Nothing. I even turned off two-factor authentication and tried with no luck. Typically, I enter my username (email address) and then it sits for a while and comes back with the message "Sorry, Something went wrong there. Try again." Every once in a while, I'll get to enter the password, but I get the same "Sorry" message. (I was able to log in and out on my computer but I don't dare try on my phone for fear of losing mail access on my phone.) Been searching all day for a solution. Any ideas? TIA [link] [comments]
How Durable Is The IPad Magic Keyboard? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 10:01 AM PST I ask this because coming from the Apple branded folio keyboard on my 10.5" Pro. That thing was a piece of junk and peeled terribly at the seams until it just stopped working. So as I do want the Magic Keyboard I'm a little worried about it's durability. [link] [comments]
Resilience of the Apple pencil tips Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:01 AM PST Recently I bought an Ipad Air 4 with the apple pencil, mainly for notetaking and drawing. However, I do have a very heavy hand when writing. I have also purchased a matte screen protector, but I am worried about the apple pencil tips. Are they reliable and can handle heavy-handed people? Are those tip protectors that I see online worth the money? [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Feb 2021 09:42 AM PST Just downloaded a 4k movie from yts using a itorrent and I'm wondering if the movie is going to play in 4k or just 1080p ? [link] [comments]
Optimising IPad Air 4 for business studies degree student? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 05:39 AM PST Hi, as you can see in the title I've recently bought the iPad Air 4 (2020 model). I have dyspraxia and find organisation very hard - and upon some research found how useful an iPad could be whilst at university, for note taking, as a pdf reader etc, for books etc.. however you need to use it optimally for it to really benefit you. Do you have any suggestions for apps or programmes that I would likely find helpful? I've already had a look at good notes and will be getting it upon the iPad being delivered. Any other tips or tricks in using the iPad will also be appreciated. Thank you :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Feb 2021 03:57 PM PST Probably no one cares but I always enjoy reading other peoples lists and I'm getting excited/tired waiting patiently for the next iPad Pro update. So here's what I'll be looking for during the keynote. What do you want?

Audiobooks on iPad, what's the best solution? Posted: 22 Feb 2021 02:42 PM PST I like the default books app, but adding audiobooks are the only reason I still need to use a desktop and itunes, and I haven't found a better way to do this. Dropbox doesn't let you export audio files to the books app either. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Feb 2021 07:14 PM PST I really want mini-LED but not on a 12.9 inch, as that is way too big of a screen for my liking [link] [comments] |
