If you’re looking for an action, RPG dungeon game, check out Moonlighter! Posted: 24 Nov 2020 05:19 AM PST You play as Will, a shopkeeper by day and a hero by night. During the day, you run your little store - selling loot you find in the dungeons to earn money while at night you head out to hunt creatures and explore the various worlds. Each one has its own theme and set of enemies/bosses. The layout of the dungeon changes every time you hop in so you won't be plowing through each level so easily - which I personally like, especially when you get to the tougher dungeons. You can only bring back a number of items if you die so you can't hoard everything and immediately become a millionaire by selling it all in your shop. A nice aspect to add in cause otherwise it'll be too easy. The game has a pleasant pixel art style with vibrant and bright colours (It isn't a gory game so younger kids can play). It has nice controls with the option to play with touch/swipe or with virtual joysticks. The UI is simple, clean, and well-organised. There's easy, medium, and hard mode so you can crank up the difficulty if it's getting too easy or vice versa. A new game+ mode is also available after you finish the story - giving you more challenges and weapons. What I really enjoy about Moonlighter is that it's not just a "run through dungeons, get loot and repeat" game. There's also a great story behind it and unique features like upgrading your shop, bring in new vendors to the city to help with your endeavors, craft & enchant your gear, and even get companions! It makes the game much more dynamic and meaningful. I first played the game on PC and absolutely loved it so it's exciting they have a mobile version now. For those who are familiar with the game on PC and are wondering if it transitions over to mobile well, the answer is yes. So if you're looking for something fun, fresh, and challenging, I definitely recommend checking out Moonlighter! [link] [comments]

Looking for offline games that are best at utilising mobile as a platform Posted: 24 Nov 2020 08:32 AM PST What I mean by that is that I'm looking for games that are specifically designed for mobile, meaning that they are best at using touch controls and gestures to play. What are some of the best games that you can name of such kind? [link] [comments]
Auro: A Monster Bumping Adventure got updated Posted: 24 Nov 2020 10:00 AM PST https://apps.apple.com/us/app/auro-monster-bumping/id912559144 Saw this awhile ago and was surprised nobody had posted this here, as far as I could tell. This was a classic turn-based strategy game in a similar vein to Hoplite, and was really popular back when it came out. Updates eventually lapsed and it disappeared under the 32-bit apocalypse, presumably due to engine limitations. At the beginning of November, it looks like the developer shipped a rewrite of it to work on modern devices. If you had bought it before you can probably download it again. [link] [comments]

Forgot this game: Mad farmer sees squid aliens abduct cows, shooting rampage! Posted: 23 Nov 2020 06:20 PM PST It was very similar to gigantic x or xenowenk, backseat they are both top down shooters with similar controls The game and controls were more simplified. The farmer (could be a blue alien farmer) is sleeping in his house. Suddenly some squid aliens steal his cattle or cow aliens. Then he wakes up and sees the commotion. He knows it's time to go Texas style and arms himself. The aliens look like transparent squids with probably their brains able to be seen. They walk on their tentacles and look very "durp" I guess. After shooting them, they burst. Some of them are red, which are harder to beat. You get a array of weapons and health which you find from chests around the map. The farmer lives on an alien planet, so he's an alien farmer that has to shoot these squid like, cow abducting aliens. It would be a great help to find it! Thanks! [link] [comments]
What games are you planning to buy if they get discounted on Black Friday? Posted: 23 Nov 2020 01:50 PM PST Mine are: Thronebreaker & Banner Saga 1 & 2 (Since I have them on PC, buying on iOS would only be an extra bonus to play on the couch) Grimmvalor & Oddmar (will get them either way, but a discount would be nice :) ) Barbearian, Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale & Ticket to Earth (not sure if they are worth it, so a discount would be nice encouragement XD ) [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Nov 2020 03:38 PM PST So basically I bought a keyboard and mouse and the mouse works fine on games but the keyboard i can still use in the text chat for all games but cant move my character with it, is there anyway to turn this on (this is mostly for roblox and among us) -i doubt among us has keyboard support for mobile as it is a very small team of developers but i thought roblox would, also if roblox doesn't allow this are there any games that make use of the keyboard and mouse connectivity on the ipad?
