Hello, today I have released another massive new update to YouTube Reborn, its another complete recode from 1.0.3.6-1.0.4.0, I did this recode because the previous recode ended up turning out to be worse with the lose of iOS 11/12 support and other issues it had.

[Discussion] Why do people asking for help get downvoted?

Time and time again I see posts that are simply asking for help getting downvoted to hell. They usually end up going to different subreddits, or they just completely stop asking insightful questions because they're afraid of losing karma. Anybody new to jailbreaking will be completely discouraged to ask questions because they don't want to lose karma for doing nothing wrong.

I don't understand what's the point of downvoting a question. Either provide them the answer they're looking for or just ignore the post and continue scrolling down. I'm not saying you're required to upvote the post and give it an award, just provide an answer to the post and if not just carry on with your day like nothing happened. It's really not that hard. I understand if somebody asks an obvious question and gets downvoted, but many questions that are insightful and practical and can help the jailbreak society as a whole still get downvoted.

I thought this subreddit was supposed to help out people new to jailbreaking and provide them with helpful information. This subreddit is literally the complete opposite right now.

[Free Release] Lyricize - Lyrics for your Lockscreen

Hey all,

Since ConorTheDev has seemingly discontinued Lyricify and made it unavailable for purchase, I figured I would make a free alternative for users that never purchased it or couldn't purchase it. This tweak is almost exactly the same as Lyricify, the only differences are that it uses Genius and a couple other APIs to get lyrics and some minor UI differences. Lyrics may take longer to load but should overall be more accurate. Compatible with most lockscreen player tweaks (Flow, ColorFlow, Sylph, etc.) I didn't test this tweak very thoroughly so there's bound to be bugs, if you experience any bugs report them in my PMs (don't send a chat request because I probably won't accept it)

Cydia Substrate 0.9.7107 fixes another bug introduced in 0.9.7105 (which was in some sense a pretty major update, at least "apparently, in retrospect") that caused extensions that hooked frameworks with embedded executable files, such as com.apple.SpringBoardFramework, to sometimes get loaded into unexpected processes; if the extension then is relying on the filter to prevent this (which it shouldn't, FWIW) they could wedge things (and this did happen).

In the past i guess it was a tweak called « recentlyuninstalled » but now it don't works with all the new iOS,

It will be really helpful to have a tweak like this that show all recently deleted tweaks.

In case:

1- you deleted it by accident.

2- you wanna reinstall a tweak you had and you forget the name of the tweak.

Let me know what you guys think about it, And if maybe there is already a tweak that do this.

[Update] piRa1n v5 - Odysseyra1n and Auto recovery mode

Hi, I hope you're fine!

piRa1n is a tool that lets you easily turn a Raspberry Pi 4 or a Banana pi M2 Zero into a portable Checkra1n dongle. piRa1n can install Odysseyra1n now.

Source code available on GitHub

It only works with a Raspberry Pi 4! Other versions of the Raspberry Pi are not supported because their USB controller aren't support by Checkra1n. It also works with a Banana pi M2 Zero.

I've just updated piRa1n and there are new features:

"Auto recovery mode" puts your iDevice into recovery mode as soon as it's connected to the Pi, after that you can put it into DFU mode. This feature avoids filesystem corruption because the iDevice is not directly put in DFU mode.
You can install Odysseyra1n using your Pi! (Odysseyra1n is a modern replacement bootstrap (basically the code that makes your tweaks run) from Coolstar that offers better speed, stability, for some also greater battery life and Sileo is installed instead of aging Cydia.)
I updated piRa1n-web (the web ui) to support these new features.

You don't need to use command line to install piRa1n. More informations can be found here

Today I wanted to try out unc0ver on my iPhone 8 Plus currently running iOS version 13.4.1, I rebooted my device and used unc0ver to jailbreak. Should I use ReProvision to keep unc0ver signed or should I delete either unc0ver or checkra1n??
