RunIn - A runner app made by a runner Posted: 04 Jul 2020 07:56 AM PDT A year ago I'm training for a half marathon and using my Apple Watch to track all workouts that my couch sent to me. Some of these workouts are called as interval running. You ran a 400 meters and recovery for 100 meters walking. Some intervals you recovery during some distance and others during some time, like 1'44". All of those capabilities doesn't exists on native fitness app on Apple Watch. The easy way is to buy an Garmin. I've created RunIn to fill this lack for runners that uses your Apple Watch. With RunIn you can create some workouts and select them on Apple Watch. App send an alert (haptic feedback and voice feedback) when current interval (or recovery) was completed. You can do a double tap at screen to skip the current interval too. I'm working on in some great features to release next month. So, let me known if you're running iOS 14 and watchOS 7 betas and I'm adding you to TestFlight. Check out RunIn [link] [comments]

So I got a dumb favour to ask... Posted: 04 Jul 2020 06:49 AM PDT ...to anybody who's willing to help me out. I live in Dubai. I found out about the 2020 Pride Edition Nike Sport Band (UK Apple site) only about a week ago and I wanted to buy it ever since. But I didn't. And now the band is no longer sold here (online and in stores) so shoot me. The US and UK Apple sites (and all their other regional sites for that matter) don't ship internationally, and I've scoured the web for the last couple days looking for sites that sell and can ship it to where I am. None so far. Looking for that one person who's willing to help me out – to buy and ship it to me. I'll pay you the $/£49.00 price tag of course plus the shipping fee, and a bit more for your troubles and taking the time of day to help a stranger out. If you're willing to help, send me a PM (no chats please) so we can discuss other important details such as proving that we won't scam each other lol. I have a Series 4 - 40 mm. Please be nice, I don't have the energy to deal with trolls. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
The Clockology Posts need to be removed (or flagged) Posted: 03 Jul 2020 02:49 PM PDT Seriously. Clockology is an app that pretends to be a watch face. It is **not** a Watch face. Results vary but it runs in the foreground and thus will drain more battery since it's not a watch face - that's a fact. Mods need to step in here, it's false advertising. And not to mention when you call this app out they flood this sub with spammers and fake accounts and will harass anyone who tries to tell the truth. They spammed and harassed me for over a week. Buyer Beware. [link] [comments]

Sudden battery failure or watchOS 6.2.6? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 09:21 AM PDT Hey, everyone. I was pretty late with updating my Apple Watch Series 4 to watchOS 6.2.6 (last week). Ever since I installed the update, my watch has been "dying" at 50-60% battery. The reason I say "dying" is because it just shuts off. If I try to turn it back on, the Apple logo appears, but it doesn't turn on. Nothing happens when I try to turn it on after that - it's just a blank screen. It only turns on when I put it on the charger, and then the battery indicator shows 50-60% (in that range), like nothing even happened. I've tried rebooting, turning off background app refresh, and unpairing/repairing my watch. I got my watch brand new in October 2018, and I've been wearing it every day for 23 hours. I've used it while swimming, sure, but I haven't been to the pool in weeks. I wear it in the shower, too, avoiding getting soap on it and all that, but I take 1-2 showers a week. I don't know why it started doing this, but I need some feedback from you guys. I can't find much on the internet about this because it always redirects to "sudden battery drain" instead of "battery failure." [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jul 2020 12:21 PM PDT Recently gave my series 4 to my mom due to my tattoos interfering with the watch sensors. I know you can simply turn off wrist detection, but I did notice some differences in the metrics being measured. Any rumors on series 6 sensors or should I just bite the bullet and accept I won't ever be able to use wrist detection? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jul 2020 12:15 PM PDT So the title suggests it. Before covid hit, I was fit. Now I'm fat. It's simple Since my gym closed I can't do any resistance or cardio. So I'm looking at an Apple Watch. BUT I don't know how well it works with Spotify and streaming music. I will get the cellphone one because I can't take my phone with me all the time. But I do still want to stream music. So tell me. 1) can I stream playlists well on the watch or does it need work for Spotify? 2) how accurate is it for keeping track for running/cycling distance and heart rate. 3) is it worth getting the 5 or just waiting for the 6? I will want to use it in the snow for snowboarding. So let me know [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Jul 2020 07:08 AM PDT I have checked the cable - all is plugged in correctly. I have the charging symbol on the watch face. My iOS is up to date. Help? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jul 2020 10:10 AM PDT Watch notifications are set to mirror phone. It's a pretty lively grouo chat so it goes off constantly. No problems being silenced on the phone. I know I can put the watch on dnd but I still want other notifications. it's so annoying on the watch that I find myself taking it off and turning my phone off silent. [link] [comments]
When to charge Apple Watch S4 if sleeping with it? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 06:00 AM PDT So, if you sleep with the AW (I usually charge it while I am sleeping), when does one charge it? When you wake up? During the shower? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Controlling iTunes—how to get back to Playlists? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 08:21 AM PDT I'm loving my new Apple Watch 5. (Finally replaced my first gen!) When I'm using my watch to play iTunes content from my phone, how do I get back to Playlists to play something else? This is what's currently happening: (1) I look at my watch face, (2) tap the tiny Now Playing icon at the top of my watch face, I'm taken to the iTunes interface screen (Pause/Play in the middle, previous track on left, next track on right, speaker control bottom left, current track list bottom middle, 3-dots current song far right). At the top left corner of the watch is a blue arrow pointing left; when I tap this, it takes me to a screen with two large boxes: the current song/album playing, and a second box labeled Apple Watch: Music. Tapping the latter does nothing; tapping the former just takes me back to the Now Playing screen with all the controls I described above How do I get back to my Playlists and search control over my iPhone iTunes library from the Now Playing screen? I can't figure this out. [link] [comments] |
