PSA: You can decline calls by double pressing the side button!! Posted: 07 Jun 2020 01:31 PM PDT If you get a call when your phone's screen is off you'll only get an option on the screen to slide to answer, and not to decline. If you press the side button once it'll mute the ringing, and if you press it again it'll decline the call. I figured this out by accident and not sure if this is common knowledge so I thought I'd share. Hope this is helpful. [link] [comments]
The more I want to use Siri the more I want to smash my phone into pieces Posted: 08 Jun 2020 05:52 AM PDT Seriously it's ridiculous I can never get past one day without Siri doing a damn thing right. No matter how slow I talk to Siri she always get a keyword wrong 90% of the time . I am considering switching to android because I am tired of this crap. Has anyone ever had this problem as well? Please let me know. I am also having a problem today where not even one keyword is correct. For example when I say "Even if" no matter how slow I talk and yes I have a good grammar. She instead gave the result "Earnest" when I clearly said "Even if" I think Siri needs her ears checked because she's so pathetic She can't even say a simple word like "I". Also I've yelled so fiercely at Siri that I lost my patience with her. What do you guys all think? [link] [comments]
Someone's photos appearing in my photo feed Posted: 08 Jun 2020 02:25 AM PDT Not sure what to make of this, looking for advice. 6 photos that I didn't take have appeared in my Photos app. All 6 are what appear to be accidental shots of someone's window, one that I don't recognise from anywhere. The photos were taken on Saturday evening, at which time I was at home. I have a family account but my wife is the other person on it, she was with me and doesn't recognise them any case. There's no location data so I can't tell where they were taken, but looking at them on my iMac I can see they were taken on the front camera of an iPhone XR. I have an XS and my wife has a 6s. I've changed my password and already have 2FA on. Anything else I need to do? Any ideas how this happened? [link] [comments]
Is it possible to have two different versions of the same app on one mobile device? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 07:55 AM PDT I have an app that is used for painting miniatures, and I really like some of the features of a previous version of the app that have since been removed. Is it possible to revert the app to a previous version but also have a copy of the most up to date version on my phone? How do you revert an app to its prior version [link] [comments]
Unable to save photos - Reddit mobile iOS 13.5.1 Posted: 08 Jun 2020 03:30 AM PDT I recently switched from my Samsung galaxy note 9 to a iPhone 11 Pro Max and I am unable to save photos from the reddit app to my camera roll. It worked for one photo the day I got the phone then just stopped working. I have the option to save the photo but after I click it nothing happens. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, made sure reddit app has both read and write permissions for photos and there was a new iOS update that I installed last night. Any ideas? Am I blind or did Apple remove the water pistol emoji? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 03:10 AM PDT Title, didn't see any post about this after scrolling for a bit. Anyone know when this happened? Been off the grid for like 10 days and bam! We'll just remove this one little bit right here. edit: turns out I'm blind like a bat. Thanks everyone! [link] [comments]
Curious: Who closes the background apps once finished with them? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 05:38 AM PDT I personally don't, I feel like iOS does a better job then I do at managing the apps in the background, also it really just makes things slower when opening apps back up. I was just curious what everyone's thoughts where on this as I still see my friends closing every single app they use [link] [comments]
Apple Maps vs Google Maps: Which and why? Posted: 07 Jun 2020 06:35 PM PDT I'm sure this comes up a fair bit so pardon if this is a frequent question. I'm up in Canada if that helps. Have traditionally always used apple maps. Which do you think is the best? Why? [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Jun 2020 02:36 PM PDT I find there is surprisingly little information out there about the Apple Books app, and since I use it as my hub for all things reading, I'm wondering if anyone know if rereading a book will count toward the yearly goal, or can it only count once? iOS 13.5.1 isn’t available OTA Posted: 08 Jun 2020 02:34 AM PDT I have a Pro Max on 13.5.1, but my partner has the new SE and the update hasn't been available to update. Is this the case for anyone else? [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Jun 2020 11:04 PM PDT Has anyone tried to have Siri remind you of anything lately? She keeps telling me she doesn't see an app for that and that I should download one. 🤷♂️🤦♂️ [link] [comments]
Is there any free to use app left? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 01:37 AM PDT I have the feeling that nowadays every single app is free to download but needs a monthly or yearly subscription. Does anyone know where I can find (maybe on Reddit) a place where true free apps are listed? Thank you! [link] [comments]

Completely separate photo libraries? Posted: 07 Jun 2020 09:28 AM PDT I would like to have two completely separate photo libraries, one for photos that I take with my camera, and one for photos downloaded from the internet (memes, gifs, etc). I tried making an iCloud folder for internet photos and some shortcuts to save and retrieve them but it feels clunky. Is there a photo app maybe with its own photo library separate from iOS's native photo library? One that allows saving and retrieving photos from any app? [link] [comments] |
