| The state of the free iOS game chart Posted: 10 May 2020 05:59 AM PDT I got my first iPhone in 2012 and downloaded and played a lot of games around that time. I drifted away from iOS gaming but have gotten back into it recently and I'm astounded at the difference now. Before, the free games were quality, popular games with minimal or no ads. Now, they're almost entirely filled with these very cheaply made crappy simple games that have more ads than gameplay. What happened? Are these companies scamming the Apple store and mass-downloading their own games to get them on the chart? Sorry if this topic has been talked about to death. If anyone has any posts or articles about this, I'd love to read about it. Also, unrelated but shocked at the amount of games and apps that have high price tags for weekly subscriptions. | Legends of Runeterra on iPad not compatible Posted: 10 May 2020 10:15 AM PDT So I have an older generation iPad, I'm unsure which one it is but I'm pretty sure it was the first one with the lightning port. I want to be able to play Legends of runeterra on it, but it says it's not compatible, however I thought maybe jailbreaking the iPad or something like that could fix so I can actually play the game. Anyone have any recommendations? I've looked at a few with little downloads but high ratings and others like the Dungeon Hunter series but am on limited data and can't really just download willynilly till I find something promising. | Posted: 09 May 2020 03:23 PM PDT I have ran into an issue with the game Bastion. https://controller.wtf/, which is a site used to check if MFI controllers can be used for IOS games, says controllers can be used for that game, but I open the game up and my Dualshoch 4 (PS4 controller) cannot be used. I did a check again for Supergiant game's other game Transistor, got the OK from the site, and my controller works fine with that game. I am hesitent because I would like to buy Chrono Trigger, but am not 100% sure if I would be able to use a controller even though the site says it would work for that as well. Is the site up to date or is it only Bastion that can't be played with controller? [link] [comments]  | ||
