iPad Pro 11” & 12.9” Rubber Bumpers Posted: 22 Apr 2020 09:54 AM PDT With the New Magic Keynote Case out, I've seen a handful of people (including myself) searching for a rubber bumper that covers the edges of the iPad while leaving room for the pencil and smart connector to attach. Could this design be possible? I'm wondering if the edges that wrap around the back would block some of the magnet strength or not allow the smart connector to connect. My second question would be: can the smart connector be covered on the back with a conductive pass-through that would allow a full body case to be made and the smart connector still be able to attach to the MK? I feel like if this is possible, it may be a better, more secure option for those looking for edge protection while using the new MK! [link] [comments]

windows PC + Ipad pro 10.5 as a drawing tool ? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 12:13 PM PDT Hello :) ! I wanted to ask you what kind of APP / SOFT do you use to connect PC (windows) to Ipad for? I would like to paint in Ipad in Photoshop, Illustrator, Zbrush. I read a lot of reviews about Duet Display, Astropad but nothing convinced me. There aren't many videos on the internet about this. Thank you so much for the answers! :) Have a nice day. [link] [comments]

Motion tracking video editor for iPad Pro? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 12:03 PM PDT Does anyone know of any video editors for iPad that can handle motion tracking, or offer a decent alternative to overlay an image onto video? I'm looking to add a face cutout onto an existing subject in a video, and be able to move it along with the movement of the subject. Similar to what you would see in a lot of Friday Beers or other type of memes. From playing around in iMovie, it doesn't seem like this is possible. Thank you! Edit: Keyframe support is the proper term for what I am seeking. Going to give LumaFusion a shot to see how it handles. [link] [comments]

Logitech version of Magic Keyboard? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 09:06 AM PDT I recently got the Magic Keyboard and due to a few limitations in my use case I had to return it. I'm fairly new to iPad Pro, so I was wondering when we might expect Logitech to release their own version? It seems like the only option for the new iPad Pro is the smart folio keyboard case but even that seems overpriced. I'd hate to buy something like that and a month later Logitech releases their own version. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Is AppleCare+ actually worth it? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 02:37 PM PDT Is AppleCare+ actually worth it? I just placed an order on Saturday for an iPad Pro 12.9" 2020, the magic keyboard case, and the pencil. I'm wondering if the AppleCare+ is actually worth getting. Part of me wants to be safe rather than sorry, but the other part things about how I've never broken a phone and I've never broken a laptop of mine and I certainly don't keep a case on my laptop and don't insure my laptop. I think I've also anecdotally heard how the plan isn't actually as useful as it's made out to seen, so I'd really love to hear your thoughts. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Apr 2020 02:35 PM PDT I ordered a hub from amazon (hiearcool) it worked but would disconnect often. So I guess it wouldn't work. I've read this is a common problem. Is there a hub that's under $30 that works and doesn't disconnect? thanks. [link] [comments]
I almost threw away my old Smart Keyboard - 13.4.1 Fixed Everything Posted: 22 Apr 2020 02:30 PM PDT I have an iPad Pro 10.5 with Smart Keyboard. Maybe this well help someone. With the release of the new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, I was about to just trash the Smart Keyboard and sell the old iPad. After updating to 13.4.1, the Smart Keyboard suddenly started working. Prior to this, I... Restored without restoring backup. Cleaned connectors None of the prior steps worked. I heard this is a problem for many people, so maybe 13.4.1 will fix your issue as well. And I love the new cursor support! I'll be able to hold off on a new iPad for now. [link] [comments]
Paperlike on glass screen protector Posted: 22 Apr 2020 08:06 AM PDT I'm thinking of getting a rugged protective case with a built-in glass screen protector. There might be issues to the set up I might not be aware of.If anyone has tried anything similar, it'd be great to hear. [link] [comments]
Benefits of having an iphone/iPad combo? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 08:06 AM PDT Just curious. I got the iPad because of its drawing capabilities and everything else it does is just a giant bonus. I'm definitely an Android person and if the surface or Galaxy tabs were up to par I probably would've never had anything apple. (besides airpods lol) But anyway I'm at a point in my life where really all I use a phone for is taking pictures and your usual social media stuff like YouTube, Facebook etc. So I don't even see a reason why I should be paying more than 400 to 500 for a phone which is why I have the Google pixel 3a. Cheap price, great camera and that's all I need. Now that apple has the cheap SE version I'm wondering if that'll make my experience even that much better. [link] [comments]

first ipad and new user, note-taking workflow recommendation? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 08:57 AM PDT I'll be getting my first iPad ever, iPad Pro 12.9" 2020!! I use OneNote extensively to organize my personal thoughts and also for school. I used to take hand-written notes in OneNote, annotate PDFs and slides all the time by importing them into OneNote (formerly on a windows tablet >_<). I know I can use OneNote on the iPad and just access those note using OneNote Web (which becomes slow). However, I want to migrate away from OneNote and OneDrive storage. From my research, Notability and GoodNotes seem to come up a lot. Notability looks like the popular choice maybe for it's audio recording features. Can the notes be accessible on non-Mac devices (I use a PC and android phone)? Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Do the trackpads on keyboards w/integrated trackpads work well with IPad now? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 07:09 AM PDT Need a keyboard while working from home (on PC) and thought it may be worthwhile to grab one with a trackpad to serve double duty for the iPad once I'm back in the office and it's no longer needed. Anyone tried these yet and know how if they function well? An example would be the Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch TV Keyboard with Easy Media Control and Built-In Touchpad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014EUQOGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_j-eOEbG06QBJM. Playback speed control on Safari? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 04:13 AM PDT I'm looking for a way to control the playback speed of videos on Safari. I found this, but unfortunately it's only for Mac. Is there anything similar for iPad? [link] [comments] |
