Is there any games similar to early Fallout games?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 10:09 PM PDT

Title. Something like Fallout 1-3. Paid or free, just give the game title and I'll try it.

    Simulation Games

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 09:09 PM PDT

Just looking for an IOS simulator/tycoon games that aren't so restricted. Most games these days that involve simulation on IOS are very restricted and only allow you to either do it how they want you too or they give you options that are very limited.

So if you have any good games comment

Any idle or simple rpg with player shops or auction house and good community?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 06:46 AM PDT

Are there any idle or simple rpg (not hero collector preferably) that contain a player auction house or player shops. (Not runescape!)

I'm having a case of nostalgia. I'm remembering player shops in Neopets, and various PBBG and MUD games from back in the day

I find in a lot of the current idle rpgs I lose the point in playing as there isn't much community interaction, or variety in idle tasks. I like gathering, crafting, and combat looting systems. Auction house or player shop gives a purpose to those tasks, while on the infinite power treadmill.

I'm not going to list what I've already played as I'm open to revisiting them if they come up here!

Ancient Greece, retro game: The Curse of Issyos is up for preorder on iOS

Ancient Greece, retro game: The Curse of Issyos is up for preorder on iOS

Time and space travel is now a thing: prepare for your epic trip to Ancient Greece!

The Curse of Issyos, the exciting neo-retro arcade platformer by Locomalito and Gryzor87, is arriving on iOS on April 30th.

The game can be preordered with a discount

It's already available for preorder for $1.99: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/the-curse-of-issyos/id1500724078

    Story:

Defkalion was fishing at the quiet blue sea when he heard the voice of goddess Athena. "Hurry up", she said. "The Isle of Issyos has been cursed by the Olympus!"

And so, fearing for his daughter Delia, his only family left, the fisherman sails back to his home, where the adventure is about to begin.

The Curse of Issyos on iPhone X

The Curse of Issyos is a retro-styled action platformer with nothing but the classics of an old 8-bit game: a good bunch of enemies and bosses, linear and open scroll levels, secrets to discover, and a background story inspired by Greek mythology. It doesn't try to mimic any retro system in particular, but is coherent with its own limitations in the use of colors, sprites and chip sounds.

One game, two experiences: play mobile on iPhone, pair a controller with iPad for a portable console setup.

    Features:

    • Compatible with MFi, XBox One and PS4 controllers.
    • Haptic vibration.
    • iCloud support.
    • Game Center achievements and leaderboards.
    • Play in landscape or portrait orientation.
    • Look and feel of a console game from 1987-1988.
    • Based on Greek mythology.
    • 30+ original music tracks by Gryzor87.
    • 7 levels, 9 bosses and more than 40 unique enemies.
    • A secret level that can change the outcome of the game.
    • Around 45 minutes of gameplay (once fully mastered).

    Gameplay on iPhone

The Curse of Issyos was inspired by the movies of the special effects titan Ray Harryhausen and 8-bit games like Vampire Killer, Rastan, Kenseiden, Rygar, 8 Eyes or Ninja Gaiden.

As a kid, Locomalito liked sketching platformer games based on Greek myths - so it was just a matter of time that he made one.

Just curious... what have YOU always wanted to turn into a game? :)
And, as always: happy to answer any questions! (but might be asleep because timezones :))

    Difficult free puzzle games recommendations?

    Posted: 05 Apr 2020 02:10 AM PDT

I have an Ipad pro and I'm finding some challenging puzzle games to play during quarantine. It'd be great if the game is in horizontal orientation, free and has few(or no) ads. If not, then i'm cool with it. As long as it's a hard puzzle game.

Weird question but I'm looking for recommendations of games that are played in portrait rather than landscape orientation.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2020 04:50 PM PDT

The 2 games I play the most of atm are Clash Royale and Archero.

One thing that draws me to them is being able to play with 1 hand in portrait mode. It's far more comfortable and accessible for me.

Pretty open to most recommendations. Preferably free games that if I like I can eventually support.
