- iPad apps that are optimized to fit the screen but only work in portrait mode are the worst. Especially when your iPad is attached to a keyboard. (AMC Theatres app)

| iPad Screen Really Small Through HDMI? Posted: 04 Mar 2020 03:00 PM PST I have an iPad Pro 2018 and whenever I try to hook it up to an external display like a TV, the image is way smaller than the rest of the screen? I know the aspect ratios are different but there are large black borders on all four sides. Is there some setting in the iPad I'm missing? I'm using a third party USB to HDMI by the way, but Ive tried with other devices and haven't noticed a difference. Thank you. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Presentations app for Ipad - Need recommendations Posted: 04 Mar 2020 01:17 PM PST Hi We are looking of using few iPad to bring the presentations of our business, we would like that the users are able to take notes on the presentations and then we can email the presentation in PDF with the notes they add for their records. We are trying to used this to save paper. In a few words the app needs to accomplish the following: 1: Track the user who view the presentation, so when they start it may ask for First and Last name and email. 2: The user can take notes and we can later on send the notes with the presentation for them. 3: Able to upload the files remote to the iPad. | Anyone else have a brydge keyboard that cracked the iPad screen? Posted: 04 Mar 2020 10:44 AM PST I recently got my spouse the non-trackpad Brydge keyboard for the 12.9" iPad Pro. It worked great for a day or two, but day three she folded it closed before bed and the next day when she detached the keyboard to transfer it to her old otterbox case to bring with her she found the screen severely cracked in the corner (basically crushed) with cracks going out across the top of the screen from there. Has this happened to anyone else? I went on Brydge's site and it appears they absolve themselves of any damage to your device regardless of whether their product caused it. I'm really annoyed right now, and my wife is sad and furious since she has taken such good care of her iPad for the last 11 months. Does anyone know of any recourse? Posted: 04 Mar 2020 09:57 AM PST I knew some degree of key modification was coming in 13.4 but I couldn't seem to find info anywhere with the specific options that are made available, so here they are. Apologies if it's been covered elsewhere. The options aren't all encompassing like macOS unfortunately, you're limited to the options seen on the second screenshot, but it's progress. I usually only bother with the public betas for new x.0 releases, and then usually about pb4 or 5. But the lack of escape key on the ASK, and the ability to disable/reassign the caps lock and globe key, meant I wanted the beta asap. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Recently Deleted Files Problem Posted: 03 Mar 2020 08:23 PM PST So recently I've been having an issue with my iPad where it feels like GarageBand is taking up more space than it should be. My dad suggested I create a backup for my iPad then restore my iPad to that backup to possibly get rid of any files that were "deleted" but might've been held onto by my device. After the backup I got back on my iPad and today when looking in recently deleted in the Files app I saw that it held tons of old files I had deleted months ago. I have no clue how these files popped back up and the trouble is now that it won't let me delete some of them. I click delete all and then leave the recently deleted folder, but when I go back in the files are still there. | Sidecar doesn't work too well. Posted: 03 Mar 2020 04:19 PM PST I have an ipad pro 11 and a 2017 MBP 15. I cannot get sidecar to work well. Every time I connect, it works for 10 minutes or so and then the mouse just stops showing up, rendering the whole setup useless. I have tried connecting over USB instead, but I can't get it to connect it unless it's through wireless. Is anyone experiencing this as well? I'm trying to figure out if my specific setup isn't working or the sidecar feature is just really buggy altogether. [link] [comments]  | ||
