Series After Update Excessive Battery Drain Posted: 04 Feb 2020 04:59 AM PST Anyone else after this recent update noticing an excessive battery drain? I normally get 2 full days off of 1 charge and yesterday it was at 10% by noon (had 100% when i got to work at 8AM). [link] [comments]
Second half of battery life seemingly gone? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 06:15 AM PST Okay...I'm at my wits end with this one. Here's the deets. Series 4 - 44MM Cellular From 100% down to about 40% seems to be fine and normal. Not excessive drain, not stellar. But, below 40% seems to just not exist anymore. I went to bed with 62% at 9pm last night and by 2am it was dead. Several times over the past week I've glanced at my watch battery and seen 45+% but then the next time I glance, it's dead. I haven't received a 10% battery notification in weeks. I've reset the watch, started from a fresh install (No backup restore), turned off environment noise, workout powersaving mode, turned off background app refresh. My closest Apple Store is 2+ hours away and chat support wasn't able to identify any issues. Any ideas? [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Feb 2020 02:49 AM PST I've had had my Apple Watch 2 since February 2017 and I think it's a great watch. It's made my life much easier as I can use it as my Oyster card (I lost my old Oyster card 10 times so I moved to the watch now) when I visit London occasionally. I also use it as a wallet and it's great for that. Mine is the stainless steel Milanese style as I really love it. Only thing is my battery has worn out as it doesn't last very long and the warranty expired last year (I bought it from John Lewis so I'd get 2 years free warranty). My question is, should I pay to replace my watch battery with Apple or just get a newer watch model like an Apple Watch 4? As I'm on a budget but still want decent features, what do you suggest I do? Any suggestions would be appreciated. :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Feb 2020 05:43 AM PST Hello all. Is there a way to keep your heart rate on your watch face for live tracking? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Feb 2020 08:43 AM PST A ton of people recommend AutoSleep here, but I'm a bit lost after a few days of using it. Today for example it shows I got 6 hrs 28m of sleep, 4 hrs 17m of quality sleep, but only 59m of deep sleep. Why is deep sleep so low? Reading the app it says that deep sleep is calculated based on heart rate dip. My heart rate since awake has hovered in the 70's. During sleep it was in the 50's. That's a pretty big dip (30%). So why is deep sleep so low? I feel like I'm missing something. For background, I've only modified one setting. I modified the sleep to go one lower because it kept detecting me sleeping all throughout the day when I only sleep at night. So I changed the calibration to go one lower than default as that accurately shows when I sleep and wake up. For example, the default shows me as asleep until 10 AM today when I woke up at 5 AM. Should I buy Series 3 or save up money for Series 5? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 07:51 AM PST So, I am on a tight budget and I really want an Apple Watch. I want the Apple Watch because I want to check my statistics while working out and I want to listen to music without needing a phone. Could Series 3 do the job or do I have to save up for Series 5 or 6(When it comes out)? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Feb 2020 03:45 AM PST Is there anyway to get the world clock complication to be digital (pref 24 hour) on the info graph modular watch face on a series 4? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Feb 2020 12:38 AM PST Do you guys use a screen protector for your Apple Watch? I want one, but I want something like glass and not a plasticy feel. Any recs? I have a s5. [link] [comments]
Is it possible to turn on the flash while using the viewfinder? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 06:31 AM PST Just got my first ever apple watch and so far I'm loving it! I've been trying to replicate a feature I had on my old Moto 360 but I don't know how. I know we can use the camera app on the watch but I'd like to be able to turn on the flash while using the viewfinder. The main purpose of this is to look at hard-to-reach places with the watch and sometimes these areas can get super dark so being able to turn on the iphone flash without having to switch to video on the phone would be great [link] [comments]

Maximum number of paired Watches per iPhone? Posted: 04 Feb 2020 05:07 AM PST Hey everyone, my question is simple - yet I cannot find an answer anywhere. How many watches can you pair with one iPhone? I have 2 paired and it still lets me pair another one so it has to be at least 3. Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Feb 2020 04:08 PM PST Like the title says, this is a pretty shameless plug but I've been working on this update for last couple months between assessments at school, and I felt like if I didn't promote it somewhere it'd all be for nothing. Personally I find the app really useful for counting down my classes at school. I can just look at my wrist and see that I have 20 minutes left of English or whatever. If an app like that sounds at all useful to you, don't hesitate to check it out here! Would really appreciate it. [link] [comments]

Question about life with a series 5 Posted: 03 Feb 2020 02:06 PM PST I am very keen to buy a series 5 for myself for my 50th birthday present. I know it is a little sad I have to buy it myself but if anyone is going to spoil you and all that... I am a newbie and am wondering if there are any people who have had experience/issues with the following. I run/train using zenlabs c25k/c210k app with spotify pushing my playlists. Does anyone know if these 2 apps run well together on the watch? Also I want to completely ditch the phone when I go out and just use airpods and watch. Do apps like Uber, Didi etc work well on the watch? Thanks in advance for the advice. [link] [comments] |
