We made our iOS translator app for language learners and iOS power users free for one day Posted: 01 Feb 2020 03:31 AM PST Mate is a translator app for language learners and iOS power users. It's perfectly integrated with iMessage, Safari, and all stock apps. You can translate websites between 100 languages in Safari. You can chat in a foreign language using Mate's iMessage App. You can translate voice on the fly on your Italian trip. Here's the answer to the most popular question when people see a translator app: It has a boatload of native to iOS integrations that Google Translate doesn't have. That's why we call it a translator app for iOS power users. It lets you translate selected text on websites in Safari. Say, you speak French but not a native speaker, you're reading Le Figaro and don't understand a couple of sentences. You don't need to translate the whole page. With Mate, you can select that sentence and see a translation right there. NO other app can do it on iOS. Mate's major target audience are language learners, so we designed Phrasebook for them. It lets you save words you want to remember and synchronize them between iOS, Mac, and browser extensions. Yes, Mate is also cross-platform (however, we're only giving away the iOS app today). Phrasebook can be easily exported to CSV or Reji. Mate is also privacy-friendly, here's our policy: https://gikken.co/mate-translate/privacy If it sounds interesting to you, you can get it for free today (only on February 1): https://apps.apple.com/app/id1073473333 [link] [comments]
I launched a color-picker iOS and macOS app this week with live camera picker support Posted: 01 Feb 2020 03:58 AM PST Hey Reddit! I've spent the past month working on making a beautiful iOS and macOS color-picker and dictionary app called Aurora that contains the ability to find color details, pick colors from the camera and images, replace colors in images, save colors, view their related palettes, Pantone colors as well as Crayola representations, CSS and Swift code snippets, and more. It also has a Watch app and a Today Extension widget. The iOS app can be found over at: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aurora-color-picker/id1493055655?ls=1 The macOS app can be found over at: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aurora-color-picker/id1495998489?ls=1&mt=12 I also have some promo codes for the iOS app to share! I made a wrist rest that makes the Magic Mouse actually comfortable Posted: 01 Feb 2020 10:06 AM PST Hi everyone! I have owned a magic mouse for years and love it, but after a few hours of use it really starts to hurt my hands and wrist. So, I made and sell a cushion that fixes this issue! It's been featured on Engadget, Gizmodo, Wired, Lifehacker, and more, all with great reviews! If you want to check it out, the website is https://mmfixed.com/. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Cool new update to my Apple Music app Soor with Slick Artwork Visualizer and Coverflow Posted: 01 Feb 2020 08:32 AM PST Hello everyone, I recently released a major update to my Apple Music app called Soor. Soor is a music player and was the first ever Apple Music client on iOS. The new update brings in a slick new player with cover flow inspired cards as playback queue and a beautiful artwork visualizer. You can read more about the update here which includes explanations and examples of the slick animations in the app : https://medium.com/@tanmays/soor-v1-5-update-speed-a-brand-new-player-1bb605cdb5d2 Since it's a promo Saturday, it's only fair to give out promo codes. I'll be giving out 20 codes randomly after the next 24 hours. So if there are less than 20 comments in the next 24 hours, everyone gets a free code. (I could just list out codes but don't want random people/scrapers/bots gobbling them up) You can download the app from: https://apps.apple.com/app/soor/id1439731526?ls=1 [link] [comments]
Hey I've made a Free Habit Tracker & Mini-Journal app Posted: 01 Feb 2020 08:28 AM PST 👋 Hey everyone, I'm Marcin, an indie-hacker behind ManyHats App. Building ManyHats over the last few months has been a great pleasure, a true labor of love ❤️I am super excited to be sharing the initial but fully functional version this week. It's Free, Private, No Ads, No Signup. Have a great Saturday all! [link] [comments]
Fly - A simple app to log and share your flights. Posted: 01 Feb 2020 09:56 AM PST Hey everyone! So I've launched this side project that I've been working on. It's a flight logger app much like OpenFlights or MyFlightRadar24. Although, it has some interesting features I found lacking in existing solutions:
Here's the landing page: https://flytheapp.com Direct AppStore link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fly-log-and-share-flights/id1458855818?mt=8 It's completely free to use and you don't even need an email id to use the app. It's available for iOS as of now. Do let me know if you want to see it on Android and if there's anything else that I can do to improve your experience with Fly. Happy flying! [link] [comments]
