Recommendation: Looking for an app that shows stress levels based on Health app metrics Posted: 05 Nov 2019 02:50 AM PST hi guys I'm looking for an app that measures stress levels with metrics from the Health app. The more metrics it takes into account the better (like sleep, heart-rate, etc). thanks for any tips! Apple Watch Remains in Charging “Mode” Even When Unplugged Posted: 05 Nov 2019 07:06 AM PST I recently purchased and Apple Watch S5 and updated it to 6.1 when the update came out. I just noticed today that my watch would think it's still charging even when I remove it from the puck. The only workaround I found was to hold the crown and the side button at the same time till it restarts. The power off option is greets out since it thinks it's still charging. Anyone experiencing this, too? [link] [comments]
Raise to speak not working at all Posted: 05 Nov 2019 03:35 AM PST Apple Watch S4, only a few days old. Thought I would try out the raise to speak function and I can't for the life of me figure it out. Hey Siri works fine but haven't been able to get a response once without saying hey siri. Hope someone can help! [link] [comments]
Watch intermittently not receiving notifications from phone Posted: 05 Nov 2019 07:38 AM PST Something's been really bugging me on my S4 watch. I'm on watchOS 6.1 and iOS 13.2. I often don't receive notifications via vibration from the messages app, which I have all notifications on from. For example, my friend Bob will text me and I'll receive a notification. Then, I won't check my watch. Ten minutes later he'll text me once or twice but I won't receive those notifications, even though they're pushed to my watch (they're in the notification center!). Other times I won't get notified if someone texts me, but will get notified eventually after I check the text. This is really annoying because I've told people to text me when they're ready for me to leave or something, only to check my phone to see that they texted me ten or fifteen minutes ago. I am not using my phone at all in these scenarios. I've tried repairing my watch, but I still get this issue. Anyone else? [link] [comments]
What is Swappa's reputation among the Apple community? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:48 AM PST Hi, I am in the market for an Apple Watch and I did some digging and I found this website called Swappa. It looks completely legit from everything I've read, and they have PayPal protection, but I feel like it might be too good to be true. I mean, look at this page for Apple Watch Series 5 listings: https://swappa.com/wearables/buy/apple-watch-series-5-44mm These sellers are selling brand new Apple Watches for less than retail? How do they even make money? Why don't people just buy from Swappa where you can buy brand new for less than retail instead of apple, ebay, amazon, etc.? I might just purchase, but I'm just wondering if anyone on the Apple Watch subreddit has had experience with apple products from Swappa. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:36 AM PST When I first upgraded to watchos6 on my series 4 I could of swore it had the option for weather at the bottom. Today I was tinkering with things and now I can't get the weather back to bottom. Doesn't give the option. Anyone else seen this. [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 04:13 AM PST Anyone know of something similar to this? I'm looking for something that Can charge 2 Qi devices and an Apple Watch but I can't seem to find any others and the one I've linked is out of stock and sounds like it might not be coming back. Ideally I'd like one that can do fast charging, is flat (I.e. doesn't have a little stand for the watch) and doesn't cost a million pounds like the ones from belkin or whoever on the Apple store. Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 05:53 AM PST I'm curious as to how to delete all the activity data on the Apple Watch and start over from scratch. But all the googling I've done has shown me outdated sources that don't appear to work. Anyone got it figured out? [link] [comments]
Black link bracelet fake vs genuine weight? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 02:44 AM PST I'm waiting for a black link bracelet for my 40mm watch to arrive that I bought off eBay. I've been assured it's genuine but want to be sure. So what is the weight of yours and is it a genuine one or a copy? Thanks. [link] [comments]

Gold aluminums Apple Watch series 5 om guys Posted: 05 Nov 2019 08:24 AM PST Hey guys, was wondering what the conventions were on the gold aluminums series 5 and gender. I'm a guy and I have had all colors but the new gold series 5... seems like a rather refreshing option but don't know if it might be too flamboyant... any guys rocking this? [link] [comments]
How do people make their watches last for 2+ days? Mine only lasts just over a day Posted: 05 Nov 2019 07:47 AM PST I really want the flexibility of forgetting to charge my watch one day and not have to worry about charging it in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, my S4 watch battery lasts only around 26-28 hours on a single charge. Even when I got it soon after it released, it only lasted around 32 hours max. However, I heard others saying their watches last over 2 days. How do you do this? Here are my settings, to give a general idea:
I feel like this light usage should allow the watch to last over 2 days. How do you make your watch last for a longer time? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 07:43 AM PST I have a friend traveling to US, a supported country for the ECG App. However, I cannot travel there, so I asked for them to purchase a watch series 5 for me. I spoke with Apple Support to see if they can activate it with a Supported Cellular Network and then unpair it, so I can pair with my phone on an unsupported country. Apple Support said they cannot do that, so I'll have to ask to my friend to do it for me. Additionally, I have spoken with 2 Support Representatives and the first one said that I will retain the ECG Feature even after unpairing, but the second one says that it does not work that way and that I can only use it on a supported country. The second representative's argument does not make sense for me, because, let's say I am a US Citizen on Vacation abroad and I want to take an ECG to check my heart's health, why would Apple restrict me to do it if I purchased it on a supported country and activated it there...? so, I'm asking here in the community to see if you have successfully unpaired the watch to link it to a different account and see if it keeps the functionality. Another post about battery life Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:59 AM PST Sorry for another post in the seemingly endless sea of battery posts. Out of nowhere about a month ago, my watch (S4) battery life has become abysmal. I used to be able to go a whole day with a full charge and still have about 20-30% left over before bed. Now I can't even make it through an 8 hour work day without it dying or getting close to it. I work a standard desk job and I have a lot of notifications turned off on my watch so i'm not distracted by them. I turned off weather location services and a lot of background apps that i don't need running 24/7. I also have the watch on silent mode almost all the time, but i rarely utilize theater mode/do not disturb. I could just buy a second charger and keep it handy for situations like this, but I bought the watch brand new in early June, so this seems a little odd. If it helps at all, I was using the modular compact face, but changed to info graph modular about a week ago. [link] [comments]
Has anyone else noticed a significantly improved battery life recently? (Apple watch series 3 Nike) Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:57 AM PST I've had my watch for 18 months, and the battery quite quickly degraded to the point where it was lasting 12 hours tops at around a year old. However for the last few weeks I'm Now getting 24 hours out of the battery life, it's almost as good as when it was brand new. I haven't changed the way I do anything nor changed any settings, I can only assume this is down to the latest watch os update. Can anyone shed any light? Nice problem to have at the very least! Series 4 Stainless Steel vs Series 5 Sport Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:46 AM PST Hi all The SS series 4 is £650 while the sport series 5 is £430 Is the 5 worth going for or is the series 4 better due to battery issues with the 5? Also how much nicer are the stainless steel models? [link] [comments]
Looking for Apple Watch and Phone Wireless Charging Stand Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:41 AM PST Does anyone know of a good Apple Watch and wireless charging phone stand? All the ones I have found have AirPods slots and I don't have AirPods, so I'm looking for one with only Apple Watch and iPhone Slots. [link] [comments]
Apps that allow notifications? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:19 AM PST Hi guys, I'm getting an Apple Watch later this month (fingers crossed for Black Friday deals!) and wondering what notifications I can expect Is there a list of apps that push notifications to Watch? I'm specifically hopeful for Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, Google Calendar, DarkSky, BBC News. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Anyone know how to reattach the Velcro tabs in the sport loop band? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 05:57 AM PST So my one of the Velcro "tabs" on my knock off sport loop bands is delaminating and I was curious if there's a way to fix it? I've tried crazy glue but that didn't work as it's not flexible enough. Do I need to use heat or something like those iron on patches? The band is about a year old so I suppose that's as much as I can expect from a <10$ band. Still, would love to hear how others have fixed it. Thanks, [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 05:51 AM PST Can anyone recommend a good time tracking app for the Watch? It's largely for tracking the amount of time I'm spending on piano practice - and a few other things like that. I had tried Hours but I'm not interested in paying an annual subscription. Don't mind paying a flat fee, though, as long as it's worthwhile. [link] [comments]
