| Setting up Infuse on AppleTV 4K Posted: 25 Nov 2019 08:31 PM PST Hey guys, I recently bought a 4K AppleTV and did some research on if I should go with Infuse or Plex for my media streaming. I decided to go with Infuse but now I'm having issues with setting it up. No matter what I try, I always get "Checking connection... an error occurred. Your username and password combination isn't right." I've made sure my File Sharing is on on my iMac, which seemed to be others issue as well from other help posts. | Posted: 25 Nov 2019 02:33 PM PST Normlly I am a roku kind of guy. However, I have a streaming app that is available for iOS on my iphone and ipad, that I would like to cast to my television. I know I can do it with the lightning to hdmi adapter, but can I also do it with an Apple TV? I know there is airplay and screen mirroring for the devices, but do those work for every app or only specific apps? My understanding is that there are also different apps available for the TV than for the phones and ipads. Is that truly the case? If it matters, I want to be able to watch the hockey games on the myTeams app on my television. Thanks. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 25 Nov 2019 09:42 AM PST Hi. Does anyone know why DolbyVision is not triggered while playing the new shows, such as See and For all mankind? I have an stable WiFi connection with speed over the 50Mbps (120 total), I have HDMI 2.1 cables (not that it matters), and an OLED capable of reproduce DV content. Also, DV is set as my default viewing option and Netflix seems to have no problem with DolbyVision. [link] [comments]  | ||
