    Anybody else notice how snappy Siri is since the iOS update? Like, too snappy?

    I can barely finish a sentence before she responds. I have never had to redo so many reminders or appointments before. It's so frustrating.

    It's especially frustrating because I use Siri to compensate for some of my ADHD symptoms and I literally cannot function well without using her.

    Any idea if there is a way to fix this?

    IOS 13.2.3 on iPhone 7

    Using the new ios update on my iphone 7 i honestly say that this is the worst update of any for ios13. My battery life is just awful i charged my phone this morning with 100% at 08:00 and started my day. During the usage of the phone RAM management was terrible, i cant stress enough how awfull it has become i cant even copy a text from notes to mail without mail on safari reloading the whole page again. I dont even want to talk about mail and settings as it seems that bugs are more regular there then in the sewers. To continue on with my battery life; it is now 11:34 and during the 10 mins of writing this text i lost 10% and i'm currently on 45%... I hope something happens soon with 13.2.4 because this is not normal. Thanks for reading !

    anyone else experiencing a decline in the quality of the speech to text / predictive word choice options / and moving and selecting with the cursor since ios13?

    iOS 12 was decent with letting me drop the cursor and double tap to select the whole word but iOS 13 I just want to smash my phone every time I paste a list in to note pad and try to edit it.

    StT keeps using words I didn't say and don't make any sense and about 50% of the time it will suggest the word I said if I select it.

    Predictive word choice over the keyboard seems to have gone back to a gen1 product.

    Help! I can no longer use the "Share" function to email ebooks to my reader

    Previously, when I clicked on an ebook I had mailed myself in Gmail, it would download it to the local device, recognize it as an EPUB, and then allow me to open it in Megareader, my preferred ebook reader.

    ​

    Now, in the "Suggestions" list Megareader is no longer a choice. I get Kindle (which can't open EPUB), Discord and even my Web-conference app, but not Megareader.

    ​

    So, I searched high and wide on the Web to try to find a way to force Megareader back onto the Suggestions list, and I failed miserably. Lots of articles on how to move "Suggestions" to "Favorites", but nothing on what to do if iOS doesn't "suggest" what you really want.

    I'm having some problems with my phone, especially with Messages - I've got an outgoing SMS stuck for over a year already, and won't stop receiving messages about the message failing to send (the outgoing message doesn't appear anywhere in my Messages, so I can't delete it either).

    Thus, I decided to just try backing up and restoring my phone. I only want to back up my apps and their data, my photos, safari data, etc, contact list, etc, without transferring the Messages part over. Is there any software I could use to selectively back up the parts that I want backed up? I think I can only do a full backup were I to use iTunes...

    Iphone - How to cut out a part in the middle of a video?

    Guy, maybe I don't see the obvious, but I've tried to search google up and down and don't even find threads on this..

    How can I cut a video on the iphone if I want to cut out a part in the middle? There's only explanations on how to cut the beginning or end, which is obvious and not helpful in this case..

    Can I do this in the photo app or do I need another app?

    2 Turkish teens claim that they've bypassed Apple's FairPlay screen recording protection by recording netflix screen, without use of any 3rd party apps or jailbreak. Apple offered them 200k USD but they're refusing and asking for more.

    I'm wondering how this will turn out for the guys. Also surprised why Apple offers this much money for something 2 high schoolers can find.

    No Siri Suggestions for Birthday and Holiday?

    I saw some posts about how proactive Siri is on Reddit, but I always fail to get that feature on my devices.

    For example, Siri can tell me to say Happy Birthday when my friend's birthday is coming. Siri also can ask me to turn off the alarms if tomorrow is holiday.

    However, I haven't seen any kind of those proactive features since using iPhone and iPad.

    Of course, everyone in my contacts has birthday written, and I am also subscribing to the Holiday calendar.

    Is there any way to force-enable this feature? (Siri Settings are already on)

    Before iOS 13 my battery used to drain 3% in 6 hours with no use. Now it drains almost 30-40% in same time with no use.

    So it's been a while and a number of iOS 13 updates have gone out. I would like to update now, but since scrolling reddit I still see posts about bad performance/terrible battery/serious bugs and so on.

    Some posts mention they're on iPhone 7, my model too. Has anyone else, with an iPhone 7 preferably, had a good experience with the software? I don't want to let fear keep me from it if it's just a minority.

    [Question] iPhone Storage doesn’t update no matter what, even if I delete my apps and videos

    On iOS 12.4. As the title states, my iPhone storage seemed to have stopped working properly, and it constantly states that 63.3-63.6 GB of storage has been used, and remains at that number no matter how much space I attempt to free up by deleting or offloading my apps and photos and videos. What's going on? Is it some kind of a bug?

    The Today Screen displayed on the lock screen after turning off alarm would be so helpful. Or at least let us choose to keep the TS static on the first page when pulling down the notifications shade, like once before. Any hope of this.

    This came to my mind again after Google just announced Google Assistant Ambient Mode

    I don't think we should have to use any extra steps to turn on the phone and swipe right (sometimes multiple swipes to the right) to get the today's screen.

    I would love to to wake up to be presented with how my day is going to go. While we're at it. I would love Siri to tell me today's agenda by default when asked without using a shortcut.

    Just by those two actions the phone would feel much more like a digital assistant and more useful. I think it'll make people realize the real power hidden in their smartphones and use it to have a more productive life.

    Is there seriously NO way to clear “Siri Suggested Websites”?! I DO want Siri suggestions with Siri Knowledge. I want websites I visited in the past to stop showing up as Siri Suggestions though.

    Anyone else’s iphone having issues after ios13?

    My Netflix says "error try again" so I restart my Iphone X, but now the audio goes in and out. The audio for instagram goes in and out too, and my phone id just laggy in general. Youtube videos won't play either. It's not a wifi issue because my macbook works perfectly fine. Anyone else experience this?

    Transparent background images

    I want to download transparent background images direct from google images to add to my instagram stories, but when I did the image file is saved as jpg instead of png. Do any of you know how can I change that?

    Maybe using a specific app or configuration.

    Looking to get my mother (late 50s) a new iPhone for Christmas and was hoping to get some advice.

    She currently has an iPhone 6s but it's seems to be dying a slow death. I was looking at getting her the iPhone XR over the 11 because to me, it seems like they're almost the same thing. I know the XR has the A12 chip vs the A13 in the 11 and that was really the biggest difference I could find. The cost savings with buying the XR would allow some extra room in the budget for a case/screen protector vs having her buy that herself.

    Anybody care to share their opinion on which I should purchase for her? In the event this changes anyone's opinion, she mainly uses her phone for FB, email, some games and the occasional picture.

    EDIT: Sorry if this post doesn't belong here. If it doesn't then hopefully someone could point me to a sub that this would fit better in.
