    When my bluetooth earphones are connected to my iPhone 8 plus, the volume control bar shows up randomly. The phone isn't having any case.

    I have setup my wife and kids iPhones as family and made sure they have positions enabled etc but it still works like crap. My sons phone laying right next to me shows latest position known is from okt 1 ..

    The other phones I'm lucky if they even show up

    To get it reliable I actually have to login to their iCloud accounts on desktop... can't imagine it should work like that?

    Still couldn't figure out why Apple forcibly removed this basic basic functionality and make every trimmed video "non-destructive"

    By making every change "non-destructive" all spaces cannot be freed on your phone.

    A 10 minutes video still occupies that much space even you are getting rid 9 minutes of it.

    Apple, shame on you. Worst way to promote large capacity iPhone.

    Why did the original iPad not get iOS 6?

    Apple is always very good at giving software updates, even if it makes the device slower (iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad mini, looking at you.) They truly push their hardware to the limit with their updates till they can't handle them anymore. Apple has always been great about software support... except for one device.

    My first iDevice was an original iPad I got on launch day. It was a 64GB beast. But it became obsolete after iOS 5/6. No apps supported iOS 5 anymore after only a couple of years, while my iPad mini has many apps still supported for it, even years after its last software update.

    The iPad had a 1GHz Apple A4 (vs 800MHz in the iPhone 4), and 256MB RAM, but only went up to iOS 5.1.1, while the iPod Touch 4G with an 800MHz Apple A4 with 256MB RAM, and the iPhone 3GS with a 600MHz Samsung processor with 256MB RAM went up to iOS 6. Both of these devices are inferior in terms of power compared to the original iPad... so why did the original iPad not get iOS 6 and stay on only iOS 5.1.1? This device is one of the shortest software support lifetimes for an iDevice ever, for no apparent reason. It was totally fit for iOS 6.

    Washed out colors on home screen and lockscreen. The wallpaper preview has much more vibrant colors then the one I get in normal use. This is really annoying, I have an awesome oled but iOS is making it look underwhelming. Any way to fix this? No true tone, no night shift on, no dark mode on.

    Anyone else just get signed out of all email accounts?

    So I have several email accounts linked to stock iOS email, and all gmail accounts automatically signed out and require password input. Was wondering if this has happened to others or if anyone may know why it has happened?

    Edit: only gmail accounts not working. Outlook and iCloud accounts work fine.

    Edit2: signing in again does not work. Accounts still say that they are disconnected and require password. Odd

    Repeat location based reminders not working?

    Is anyone else having issues with the reminders app and repeat location based reminders?

    When ios13 launched, I was able to setup repeating location based reminders and now I can't. I set up a daily reminder for me to punch into my time clock at work when I arrived at work. But ever since the new updates were pushed out, I haven't been able to get this to work.

    I can set repeat TIME based reminders AND have it remind me one time at a location but it won't do repeating location based reminders. Any ideas?

    iOS 13 Now Playing is a disaster

    Am I just missing something? Navigating everything Apple is trying to accomplish in the "now playing" section of iOS is atrocious.

    Just now I tried to play a podcast while cleaning the house on my phone. But because earlier I used my iPhone as a remote for my Apple TV it automatically played the podcast on the Apple TV. Not only that, but it wouldn't even let me stop it from playing to the tv. When clicking on "iPhone" in the now playing section it would simply take me to the music app.

    It's a complete disaster and them tying to implement everything with HomeKit/now playing/remote into one section seems like a good idea but their implementation is a total disaster.

    I need help transfering apps

    I have an iPad that I cant use iTunes cloud on nor the appstore and I need to transfer the things from my phone to my iPad for free. I have a Windows 10 PC and the cables needed. It's just a few games that need to be transferred if anyone knows what I should try please tell me.

    Messages app crash / freeze after updating to ios 13.1.3

    Hello,

    I've recently updated my iphone Xr from ios 12.4 to 13.1.3; after the update my messages app stopped working,

    When I open it, it initially freeze and after few time it crashes. Same appens if I go in settings-messages; all settings works except this one.

    Any idea to solve it? If possible I would not like to upgrade to ios 13.2

    Screen Time acts as old school Restrictions feature but causing issues with IAP

    I was trying for past couple of days to do a in-app purchase for $0.00 to unlock a good app full features, but purchase button was not tap-able and not showing the price ($0.00) at all. Today I found out that Screen Time acts as old school Restrictions feature but causing issues with IAP. I turned off the whole screen tome feature and immediately price showed up and I could make the IAP. iPhone 6S Plus, iOS 13.2

    How to disable word lookup? It’s driving me crazy

    Apologies if this was covered before, I can't find anything about it.

    I don't know when this started, maybe iOS 13, but the word lookup feature in iOS is driving me crazy. When I try to select text on my iPhone, and I tap a word, it will often highlight the word in pink and offer dictionary definitions, etc. This prevents me from copying or cutting the word, and to expand the selected text on the sides. This is really annoying. I guess it happens because I write regularly in different languages.

    Is there any way to disable this feature? Thanks for any help.

    Stopping pictures in iMessage automatically going to photos?

    Recently upgraded phones but downgraded on-board memory so need to constantly be carful of the memory I use. I remember in an old version of iOS I could toggle on or off wether a photo in my message app automatically goes to photos.... I can't seem to find this feature anymore. ... I just want to be able to take a quick photo of say light switches at the store and get my wife's opinion without having it show up in my photo stream.

    I'm on iOS 13 with an iPhone 11 pro Any ideas?

    iPhone XS battery health

    So I am just wondering if my iPhones battery will deteriorate after charging via fast charge every night (macbook pro 87W charger + usb c to lightning) over a period of time or should I charge my phone via the one that is given in the box every now and then?
