Fix For Safari Issues In iOS 13 Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:02 PM PDT Hi, Recently I came up with some issues in Safari in iOS 13 where Safari wouldn't load websites properly. I made a video for people with this issue in case they need help. Check it out:How to Fix Safari Cannot Establish a Secure Connection Error on iOS 13 [link] [comments] |
Issue with shifting home screen folder Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:46 AM PDT This has only happened since updating to the latest iOS. Basically, my home screen is completely full. I have apps and app folders taking up every possible spot (other than the fact that I only have three apps in the separate bottom grey section). Since updating, the last app folder on my home screen, which is the bottom row, far right, keeps getting bumped to the second home screen, which doesn't otherwise exist because I don't have any apps or folders other than on the first home screen. It's a very annoying issue. I move the folder back to the right spot, then it just happens again. I have an iPhone 7. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 22 Oct 2019 05:06 AM PDT Help Ive recently been experiencing one of the most annoying glitches ive ever encountered. Every few seconds (and for no reason whatsoever) i get a notification from voicemail that just says "new voicemail". Whenever i click on the notification, nothing happens and it says "voicemail call failed". I need to fix this immediately. [link] [comments] |

Network issues with 13.1.3 iPhone XR Posted: 22 Oct 2019 03:36 AM PDT I've been having network issues since updating. Nothing will load over my mobile network, whether it be maps, safari, apps, etc. Only way to fix it is to constantly keep shutting down and restarting my phone. Anyone have similar issues and found a fix? [link] [comments] |
iPhone 11 is dead (wifi and bluetooth missing, gets super hot, crashes when plugged in) Posted: 22 Oct 2019 02:08 AM PDT Hello, (I have bought my iPhone directly from Apple Store during preorder and received it on 20th September so the 14 days period is finished) I will try to explain my situation : Last Saturday, during a phone call, my iPhone suddenly stopped working. I tried to reboot it and it did not work. I eventually succeeded in restoring it via DFU mode but I then discovered all the problems : - Wifi and Bluetooth are greyed out ==> When I called Apple, they ran a diagnostic and it did not find Wifi and Bluetooth components - As soon as I plug the phone in, it crashes and it is impossible to reboot it if it is plugged in. If I want to reboot it I have to make a hard reboot via volume up and down. The only way I have found to charge it is to plug it while it is rebooting on the apple. Note that it may still crashes after that and it charges really really slowly... - The iPhone gets super really really hot and the battery drains a lot : I left it at 60% before sleeping on Saturday night and when I woke up on Sunday morning it was running out of battery I have called Apple and made an appointment on next Saturday at Paris Apple Store because I cannot send it via UPS and stay without any phone during a week or more. What do you think of this (these...) problem(s) ? Will they replace it or send it to repair ? I hope it is a problem under guarantee. Thanks ! :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Oct 2019 09:45 PM PDT I was trying to update my phone this evening over wifi but it kept having issues installing. So, i decided to connect it to my laptop and download/install from there. iTunes prompted me to sync and backup my phone before proceeding with the update, so I did. It seemed to be taking quite a while for the sync to begin, just saying "waiting to sync". Then, I saw another prompt on my phone asking if I would like to install the update and I clicked through to begin(dumb probably, I know). Anyway somewhere during this process I lost the connection and my computer said I needed to unlock my phone to connect to it. My phone for a while just displayed the black screen with spinning wheel. Now, the lock screen will flash on and off every couple of seconds. I have tried to put it into recovery mode and hard resetting. Neither seem to be working. It was getting quite warm so I unplugged it and just let the battery run down(it was sort of low to begin with). Is there anything else I can do at home or should I just take it in to apple? any advice is appreciated. [link] [comments] |
iPhone keeps exiting out of WiFi Posted: 21 Oct 2019 06:06 PM PDT My iPhone can connect to my WiFi just fine, but the moment I put the iPhone to sleep, it disconnects from WiFi and I have to go to the settings and reconnect it. Does anyone know a solution? [link] [comments] |
Location not showing in iMessage after updating to IOS13 Posted: 21 Oct 2019 09:03 PM PDT This is happening on my wife's iPhone 7. Since updating to IOS 13, when she try's to look at my location under my information in iMessage, it no longer shows anything. If I load the Find My app it shows my location with no issues, but will not show in messages. Does anyone have any idea why? [link] [comments] |
iPhone 7 won’t send pics in text mssgs. Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:48 PM PDT New to me iPhone 7 with 13.1.3 on Straight Talk (T Mobile) It will send iMessages with text/pics/MMS content fine, and will send SMS to android phones without issues, but it won't send or receive pics to/from an Android device. I've reset network settings, and reset the phone completely and loaded from an older backup, but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any assistance you might have. [link] [comments] |
iPhone 6 gets stuck on headphone mode, usually while charging. Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:40 PM PDT My iPhone 6 gets stuck in headphone mode while charging, and sometimes also when it's not plugged in. Because of this, I am unable to listen to audio (including phone conversations) without headphones while it's charging. I updated to IOS 12.4.2 to see if that would remedy the problem but it has not. I've tried turning off Bluetooth, turning on airplane mode, turning it on and off, plugging in headphones and taking them out while the phone turns on, and plugging them in and taking them out in general. I had read that this is usually a hardware problem where something is stuck in the headphone jack, but I can't see anything in there. I tried blowing some compressed air into the jack to clear out lint but it doesn't seem to have done anything. I don't think that there was any specific event or trauma to the phone that triggered this, it just happened suddenly one night. I feel like the charging port could be the key to this issue, because the problem most consistently appears when there's a plug in there, but I don't really know anything about phone repair. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
Recovering Auto Deleted Text messages? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 06:52 PM PDT Recently went to search for some important text messages from a relative on my iPhone 6. It turns out that my settings had it so that messages were deleted after a year. My question is: if these messages are from before October 2018, is there a way to retrieve them? I was thinking about reaching out to my service provider (Verizon). The messages were SMS, not iMessages. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Oct 2019 05:46 PM PDT Can anyone help with this? There are lots of pics between me and my family that I don't save to my camera roll but know I can revisit in our texts... [link] [comments] |
How to get a refund for this app? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 04:13 PM PDT So I downloaded the app called iScanner and signed up for the 3 day trial but forgot to cancel it in time so it charged me $50 for a year and now I don't know how to get a refund, I tried to do it through Apple and I didn't quality, tried contacting them didn't work. I'm located in the US. Edit: the autocorrect thought it was smarter than me, it changed the name of the app and I corrected it [link] [comments] |
imessage? why texting so hard *facepalm* Posted: 21 Oct 2019 03:23 PM PDT Hi, I've switched to a Moto device instead of years with the iPHone. My question is about ==== iMessage ==== ! I want to stop being reachable thru iMessage, as this inhibits everything when an iphone user thinks they've replied but I don't receive it. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have expereienced this; I want to keep my phone number. I've used the http://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/ site but of course this only deregisters a device or a phone number and they don't have a way to completely turn off iMessage. Or at least that's my question. My contacts send me messages they think are texts but are iMessages, so of course I don't receive them until I look at my apple device. My goal is to have a "message not sent" error notification occur for my contacts, rather than what is happening now -> they believe they successfully sent a message. I considered changing my apple ID email. But I have little doubt this would not halt imessages sent to my apple ID. Is there a way to terminate iMessage services? Besides deleting my apple ID entirely. That's what I will do in a couple days if there is no other way. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Oct 2019 02:32 PM PDT So about a month ago I started experiencing battery life issues, and after a month of it worsening I decided to ask about it. The phone is about 3 years old, and has a max battery % of 78% Symptoms are -draining -stopping at one percentage for a very long time, then draining very very quickly -random shutting down -and just now, shutting down, saying it's out of power (at 40%) and then after half an hour turning back on Should I just get the battery replaced? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 02:16 PM PDT Title says it all, it was an iPhone 7 for $150 and I don't know if they'll gonna send the money to my bank or give me a store gift card. [link] [comments] |

Does anyone have issues with blurry images in the Photos app? (iPhone 11) Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:36 AM PDT I've recently just got an iPhone 11 and even in the store beside my 8 Plus, I noticed that when I compared the displays by showing the same image (taken on the store demo iPhone 11 but airdropped to my 8 Plus), the image looked visibly clearer on my 8 Plus. I didn't think much of it though hoped it wasn't to do with the slight display resolution decrease between the phones as the 11 looked sharp even with my face up to the glass. I bought the phone anyway since everything else suited my needs as well as the price. Now I definitely notice it when viewing images full screen in Photos. Oddly enough it goes away if I double tap to zoom in and then zoom back out again. So if I click on an image and screenshot the "blur" image then zoom in the image and back out to the original size, and then take a second screenshot, there's a visible difference in sharpness. Is it just me with that issue? Seems really strange since it's not that the display can't show the image in its usual sharp way, it's just showing a lower res version by default. [link] [comments] |
Any way to not restore from back up to fix other storage. Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:07 AM PDT I have an old phone with 16 gigs of storage. My system takes up almost 5 gigs and other system data takes up over 4 gigs. I don't want to restore my phone from back up. This happened when I first ungraded to iOS 13.
