Unbox Therapy unboxes the Libra keyboard with built-in trackpad for the third gen. iPad Pros. Anyone who has a Brydge keyboard and actually *likes* it, is this keyboard appealing to you? What’s the likelihood that Brydge will fix the hinge issue if they release something like this in 2020?

UPDATE : Received replacement for White spots on Air 3

As usual, Apple's warranty coverage at its best. New iPad Air looks normal as of now, let's hope the issue is isolated.

    8BitDo controllers works on IOS13!

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 04:37 AM PDT

As pointed by u/jhsounds on /r/iosgaming here 8bitdo controlers works just as fine as Dual shock and xbox controllers. you need to go do acessibility > Switch control > Switches > bluetooth devices and connect the controllers in either MacOS mode (shows as dual shock 4) or X-input mode (shows as 8BitDo [name of your controller])

Tested on the iPad with Minecraft and Dead Cells, both worked fine.

I'm no pro artist. I do enjoy drawing but mostly I work with Affinity photo & designer, Lumafusion, and plan to stay creating animations when it launches on procreate. I draw hardly ever. I have the Logitech crayon. Would you say it would be worth getting the Apple Pencil 1 for my Air3?

    New User

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 01:57 PM PDT

    Hello everybody,

Recently, I acquired an Apple device (the iPad Mini 5) and am in the process of learning how to use it after using Android the last several years.

My initial impression is that iOS is much easier to use as a whole, although there are some areas that are rather frustrating. For example:

    • Adding books to the native application on iOS seems overly complicated. Shouldn't there be a way to import multiple works simultaneously from within Books?

    • Also, file navigation is lacking on the iPad even when compared to my Moto G7 phone. This may be due to the fact that I'm still relatively new to using the iPad...

It should be noted that I really do enjoy using the iPad overall. These are just some minor quibbles.

P.S. This is officially my first Reddit Post!

    Hi there,

With Ipad Pros now having file management, is there any way for an external drive with blue tooth functions to be paired up?

Tell me why I need to buy a K380 Keyboard

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 12:09 PM PDT

Everyone has this keyboard it seems; and to be honest you have me wondering if I need one too. I do use my 12.9 everyday and it's with me constantly, I use it for work and entertainment. I actually run my insurance agency from my iPad.

New iPad Pro bought on Amazon: Free year of AppleTV+?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 06:38 AM PDT

I recently jumped on an Amazon deal for a brand new iPad Pro (shipped and sold by Amazon). I'm curious if that qualifies me for a free year of Apple TV+?

    Touch input issues

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 10:14 AM PDT

Is anyone else having issues with response to touch on their iPads? Trying to figure out what causes it, whether its the software or the hardware. It's especially annoying near the edges, trying to use the home gesture or getting to the notifications.

How do you take handwritten notes? (angle)

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 09:10 AM PDT

Do you use a 30 degree angle most cases offer, or do you write flat on the surface?

I'm trying to decide wither this should be something I need to consider when buying a case if it's important or not

to clarify: taking notes with the apple pencil

i'm looking for a protective case that offers a good note taking experience with the apple pencil

    Best drawing stand for iPad?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:33 AM PDT

Hello! I'm getting a 12.9 iPad Pro, and I was hoping I could get some recommendations for a stand.

I would like the stand to be able to do two things:

    1. Hold the iPad at different angles for drawing
    2. Hold the iPad upright to replace my laptop

So far it looks like the Parblo PR 100 graphic tablet stand is the best option. But it looks kinda big and like it'd be hard to store away when I don't need it. I'm also considering Apple's smart folio which gives the two basic angles I'm looking for but seems overpriced.

    Any other recommendations? Thanks!

How to use iPad 1 keyboard

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:32 AM PDT

I have a keyboard for the first gen iPad with the weird little 16 (I think) pin connector.

I also have iOS devices with Lightning, and a MBAir. Is there any way to get a dongle/some sort of fabrication, to get this well-built, premium feeling keyboard to work with a newer device?

    Matte Screen Protector Reccomendations

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:18 AM PDT

Anyone have good recommendations of matte screen protectors for the iPad Pro 11in that work well with the Apple Pencil, don't attract many fingerprints, have a lot of glare, and don't scratch easily?

    Thanks in advance!

iPad File Transfer into Apps with Catalina

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 04:57 AM PDT

While I know iTunes is gone, one of the features that got changed is using Finder to transfer files from MacOS to my iPad Pro. I have apps on my iPad that I import files from my Mac to use. For example, I use Chunky for CBR/CBZ files. I use VLC for watching different video formats. I can go to Files under my iPadPro location and drag and drop the items I want to transfer to my iPad. There is no progress bar, no notification that the transfer has completed. If I want to use this same method to remove files from those apps, in iTunes I used to CMD+A or Shift+Click or CTRL+Click the files I wanted and could bulk copy off my iPad or even delete them. Now I need to do each file within each drop menu'd app individually. Has anyone figured out how I'm supposed to do this? Maybe I'm missing something.

iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen delay on digital keyboard and swiping

    Posted: 22 Oct 2019 03:59 AM PDT

I got the iPad pro last month September 28, and did not seem to have to issue regarding keyboard lag or issues regarding the iPad not recognizing whenever I use my fingers but when I updated to iPad OS 13 the issue happens pretty often except when I use the pencil. Is this an issue with the current version of the iPad OS or should I get my iPad checked?

Any “diff” tool to compare two text files?

    Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:27 PM PDT

I just recently purchase "Textastic" app, sadly, it didn't support "diff" feature like "sublime text" has in PC. So, is there any app supports "diff"(compare two text files) feature?
