    Python on iPad Pro?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 07:41 AM PDT

Does anyone know of any apps that allow you to write and run python code on the iPad Pro? Seems like the iPad Pro is the perfect device to practice Python on whilst on the go, but I can't find anything.

iPad screen protector that makes writing feel closer to actual paper?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 06:25 AM PDT

There are a few screen protectors out there for the iPad Pro 11" that claim to provide a more "paper like" feel. Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of screen protectors? I have one on my iPad Pro from Zagg but it doesn't provide much friction.

I'm wondering if anyone else has any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Is there really no easy way to merge PDFs on iPad?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 12:11 PM PDT

Tried several apps and all of them are terrible. Someone please enlighten me. To be clear, I'm looking for a way to effortlessly combine 2 or more PDFs on my iPad, and rearrange them, delete pages etc.

    What wattage are the chargers?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 09:03 AM PDT

Just purchased the new iPad Air it came with a 10w charger, I was expecting a 12w brick. Do all the iPads get shipped with different chargers? I'm in the UK for reference

My iPad Pro (10.5)'s battery health is rapidly deteriorating for no reason. What's the best way to go about fixing this?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 11:04 AM PDT

I can't really imagine myself making use out of the NEW iPad pro, but the new pencil would be nice.

I was considering buying an aftermarket battery for it and replacing it myself. I have extended experience with (older) iPhones.

Are 32 gb enough? I'm going to buy the budget iPad for my next semester and plan on taking notes, PDFs, Office, Netflix, the usual, but nothing heavy like photoshop or video editing apps or anything. My friend says that it won't be enough and she plans on getting the 128 gb, but it's $100 more and it feels like overkill... I doubt I'll ever need soo much storage but 32 does seem a bit little? Anyone that has the 32 or 128, what is your experience with it?

Documents app is eating my storage space. It's a shame, apart from that it's an awesome file manager.

    Posted: 10 May 2019 09:40 AM PDT

After buying my first iPad Pro 12.9 - 256gb) last week and diving right into the apple eco system, first thing I installed was documents by Readdle for file managing. Many of you have recommended that app in various threads. At first I was really pleased. Clear interface and workflow, awesome file type support (especially video files), but after handling a few files, deleting them or aborting some transfers, I noticed they still took up all the storage space. Sometimes it even got bigger after deleting files. It's a shame that there is no option to delete the cache in this app.

Someone already mentioned FileBrowser to me, but it's an paid app. Can anybody tell me if it's a equivalent alternative to Documents in terms of features before I pull the trigger? Also thankful for other recommendations or tips.

    Cmd-tab switcher bug or feature?

    Posted: 10 May 2019 01:20 AM PDT

I tried searching for this, but I haven't found anything so sorry if it's already been asked ☹️

Whenever I use cmd tab on a Bluetooth keyboard to get to the app switcher, I see a lot of apps that I have recently force closed. I checked settings, but I couldn't find anything. Is this a new feature or a bug?

    Help with old Zagg keyboard

    Posted: 10 May 2019 04:41 AM PDT

I received a used iPad mini 1st Gen with a Zagg Keyboard attached. I'm trying to figure out if the Zagg is still working or if the battery is dead. The Zagg keyboard is giving me these issues:

    • not showing up as available Bluetooth device on any nearby device
    • red light blinks briefly when power switch is on
    • pressing Bluetooth button makes the indicator light flash blue for a fraction of a second, then stops responding until I restart keyboard
    • oddly? The only function that works is the battery indicator (holding fn + battery icon), which shows that the device is fully charged (three green blinks)
    • seems to be charging (red indicator on when plugged in)

Charged overnight but still nothing. Seems to turn on, but turning on briefly. Yet showing full battery.
